to contact us for animals needing help. We cannot monitor Facebook or email and they may not be seen for several hours or even days. RWR is strictly volunteer and relies solely on the generosity of your support and contributions to operate. All donations are tax deductible and help cover

the cost of food, caging, supplies, medical care, cleaning supplies and facility maintenance. We are a small, home-based facility and can only take in a limited number of animals at a time. Please call or text before bringing animals to our facility for prior approval. If we cannot take your animal, we will help find a rehabilitator who can! We appreciate your understanding and support. Together, we can help save so many of Mother Nature’s creatures in need. We couldn’t do this without you!

The opossum who was found in an engine compartment back at the end of July has been released! ☺️ She was quite the feisty girl while in care, but insisted on playing dead during the whole release procedure. I had to convince her to open her eyes and look around.😂 Once she did, she suddenly felt so much better and was ready to go. Lol Good luck my little sassy girl. I have no doubt you will be fierce competition for any intruder. Be safe, be happy and be free! 🩷🙏🏻

One of the babies agreed to show the process of eye opening. 👀Baby eastern Gray Squirrels open their eyes at about five weeks old. The process started yesterday morning and by this morning, his eyes were fully open. 🥰 Nature is simply amazing. Round two of baby season is in full swing. The babies and I are in need of some supplies. If you would like to help us out, this list in comments below. Thank you all so much for your support! ❤️🙏🏻❤️

Sisters reunited. 🥰 I received a single little girl Wednesday morning, who fell from a nest in a very tall maple tree. Thursday night, her sibling was found roaming around, looking for help. I received her Friday morning. After stabilizing her, the sisters were reunited. Some light for this devastated little family. Something must have happened to mom to cause them to fall. I pray for the others. 😞 These two are very lucky to be alive thanks to you Brook! Also, I had to show off her gorgeous tail! Prayers for these two precious babies. 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

Three injured eastern cottontails arrived this week. One was found at a camp and I believe he was accidentally stepped on. 😞 Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries earlier today. 💔 The older bunny was found in the middle of the road and was likely tumbled by a car. He has some facial injuries and slight head trauma. The other bunny was found lying in the grass, bleeding from his eyes and nose. 😥 It's been a trying week for sure. 😞 Prayers for these little ones tonight. 🙏🏻

Three more baby squirrels arrived this week. One was witnessed falling from her nest in a very tall maple tree. They tried to reunite, but mom never returned. 😞 The other two babies came all the way from north of Boston. They were brought to Angell Animal Hospital and the caring finder was willing to transport them here. 🙏🏻 Prayers for these precious babies! 🙏🏻❤️

This sweet boy arrived yesterday, after being found all by himself on Thursday. What happened to his family is a mystery, but he is safe, warm and will have new siblings to snuggle with. ❤️ He opened his eyes today, just in time to see his new family. ☺️ Prayers for this little angel. 💙💙

This sweet little Virginia Opossum was found all by himself, soaking wet and shivering yesterday morning. He must have fallen off his momma during the night. 😥 Now, he is safe, warm and has a fully belly. I will help him get to a healthy weight for the best second chance possible. Prayers for this sweet boy. 💙 Thank you so much Michelle 🙏🏻

Another baby bunny arrived yesterday. He was also the sole survivor after a dog found his family's nest. He will join the other two survivors. ❤️ Prayers for this new little family. 🙏🏻
