I’m really excited to finally share this 🤍
I’m going back to my roots and creating and designing saddle pads again.
If you’ve followed me for a while, you might remember that this journey actually started back in 2016, sewing polo wraps for my horse Maverick. That quickly evolved into handmade saddle pads and custom orders, and before long the demand grew enough that I partnered with a supplier to produce higher volumes — which became Klip Klop Shop.
In 2019, my path shifted when I took in my first rescue horse. What started as one horse grew into a nonprofit that, over the next five years, helped place 283 horses into homes. Running the rescue was deeply meaningful, but it also came with real costs — to my mental health, personal finances, and time with my family. It eventually became clear that it was time for a new chapter.
Now, I’m coming back to where this all began, older, more experienced, and with a clearer vision.
This time, the focus is a modern, elevated take on saddle pads:
• High-quality materials
• Thoughtful design and fit
• Limited runs
• Intentionally released, more like a fashion designer’s seasonal collection than mass production
• Portion of the proceeds going to support rescues
This is about creating pieces that are functional, beautiful, and made with care, not rushing, not overproducing, and not compromising.
Seeing horses go in these pads, getting tagged in photos, and knowing they’re being used and loved has always been one of my favorite things, and I’m so excited to feel that again.
I truly hope you’ll continue to follow along as this new chapter unfolds.
Here’s a first look at what’s coming soon ✨
