🚨💔 We Never Thought We’d Have to Make This Post… 💔🚨
Today has already started out to a really busy but stressful day. Since this morning alone, we have already received 7 phone calls and 10 emails from people desperately asking for us to help with stray cats, abandoned kittens, and animals with nowhere else to go. Every call ended the same way… “I’m sorry, we can’t help right now, we have met our capacity”. Those words are breaking our hearts but we can only do so much…. Not because we don’t want to help. Not because we don’t care. But because we have reached a point where we simply do not have the resources to continue saying “yes” without help.
Our food supply is running low.
Our litter supply is running low.
Our cleaning supplies are running low.
For years, Zach and I have poured our hearts, our time, our energy, and our own resources into saving animals that had nowhere else to go. We’ve sacrificed sleep, personal time, family time, and countless hours because we believe every animal deserves a chance. But today, we are facing a reality we never wanted to face.
💔 Effective immediately, Little Bit Of Heaven Rescue is closing intake until further notice.
This decision was not made lightly. We have stretched every dollar, every bag of food, every scoop of litter, and every ounce of ourselves as far as possible. We simply cannot responsibly bring in more animals without the resources to properly care for them. And that hurts more than words can explain.
Because while we are saying no, there are kittens sleeping outside today.
There are hungry cats searching for food.
There are animals needing medical care.
There are lives depending on people like us to say “yes.” And the truth is, we don’t need a miracle from one person. We need a little help from a lot of people.
🙏 If every person reading this donated just a few dollars, a bag of food, a bag of paper pellet litter, or cleaning supplies, it would make an enormous difference.
