Gordon and Sons Farms

Gordon and Sons Farms We are a multi-generational family run farm in Western Kentucky that raises poultry, Tennessee Walkers, European Dobermans, and KuneKunes pigs.

We also grow excellent quality Italian Rye, Timothy, Orchard Grass, and Alfalfa hay. We have been a family owned farm since 1998, when Bill and Sherry Gordon first started raising poultry. They raised their two boys on the farm as they worked to make it what it is today. After the eldest son married and brought his wife and infant son home, we started to expand. We now raise poultry, Tennessee Wal

kers, Doberman Pinschers, Australian Shepherds, KuneKune pigs, and grow hay. We hope to continue to expand as our family grows. We are family-centered and aim to raise the best and healthiest animals and hay that we can

Working on getting into the heel position with some energy. We play and get riled up, then I tell him his "Get in" command while flicking the Frisbee around to try and help him until he understands the "game". I did mess up, I should have waited to mark and reqard when he was looking at me. Its a work in progress for both of us.

Stitch absolutely loves the water. Lars on the other hand, he's still not so sure about it.

Today Lars and I worked on our Dot Markers and getting more distance from the cone. The dot markers are used for sending to a spot or working on agility handling like hitting contacts right or getting tight turns around a jump. I had 3 dots out, he struggled a bit because the grass was a tall enough it was hard to see the dots easily. We also used it to go from dot to cone and back to dot.
