I never thought I would be making this post. I will be stepping away for the month of September. I have a nerve block for my neck, 2 procedures on my veins in my legs, and a lot of Doctor appointments coming up. Unfortunately, i do need another surgery. The doctor said a spinal fusion possibly with a cage. It's become too hard to work because of the pain. I need to focus on my health and try to gain more muscle before back surgery. I've always been really open, so i wanted everyone to know what it going on. Many clients have become friends or family to me.

That being said, Caasi has stepped up with daytime and weekend hours only to trim, and on Fridays in the evening. She has been practicing to learn how i dremel, but will not be doing a**l glands. She may not cut as short as i do right away. If you need to go elsewhere i understand.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me and trust me to care for your pet. This is just a little bump in the road and i hope to be back trimming before surgery for a little bit, if i can. As always, you can reach out with any questions or concerns. I appreciate each and every one of you! Your pets have brought me so much love and happiness.

I've talked to many clients about allergies recently. Recurring ear infections, licking paws, red paws, a**l gland issues; they can all be related to allergies. I recommend cutting out chicken from their diet first. You have to read all the ingredients on the bag for food and treats. If your pet is allergic, you need to give them at least 6 weeks on new food to see a difference. I know i have a number of clients who have switched foods and have seen a huge improvement. I can not diagnose or treat your pet, but i can give you the information to help.

Rescheduling due to weather always stinks. When I reschedule there are a lot of factors that contribute. I have to think about my assistants, my vehicle, the roads, my home and pets, and how your pets react during storms. It makes more work for me either way.
That being said, i have a few openings for Monday, August 17th in Wheatfield and Demotte before I finish that schedule. Please reach out if you are available before 5pm. Thank you🐾

*Business Hours Update – Effective Monday, Aug 3, 2026*

After a lot of thought, I've decided it's time to make a few changes to my schedule. That will include decreasing my clientele.

Summer Hours (Spring/Summer): 9:00 AM – Last appointment between 5:30–6:00 PM Weekdays
9:00 AM - Last appointment between 3:30-4:00 PM Weekends

Winter Hours (Fall/Winter):
9:00 AM – Last appointment between 3:30–4:00 PM Weekdays and Weekends

Many of you know I've always tried my best to accommodate everyone. I'm currently on the road to possibly needing back surgery and hip surgery, along with managing several other health issues. It's become very clear that I need to slow down and take better care of myself so I can continue doing the work I love for years to come.

Over the next few weeks, Caasi and Kyra will be training to learn my trimming techniques. My hope is that they'll be able to offer appointments outside of my regular business hours, giving clients more flexibility. If this is something you'd be interested in, please let me know.

I truly appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support during this difficult transition for me. Your kindness means more than you know.

Meet Billy! He's an 8 week old chow. Super cute and super lovable. He did great for his first nail trim. We fed him snausages during the trim and he even tolerated the dremel! I can't wait to watch him grow. Welcome to the Trim family, Billy!!
