There just haven’t been enough hours in the day lately! Between appointments, clients, spending time out in the hayfield, and everything else that comes with running the rescue, we’ve been extremely busy. I haven’t had much time to post updates, but everyone is doing good!
Phoenix has been doing really well! He’s getting along great with the other rescues and has come a long way since arriving here. We still have a few things to work on. Vet visits aren’t exactly his favorite, and he’s still unsure about certain strangers. But overall, he’s been doing extremely well, and I’m happy with his progress.
It’s hard to believe his first birthday is right around the corner! On November 2nd, Phoenix will officially turn ONE! That’s just a little over three weeks away! 🐾 It’s been quite a journey for this boy since coming into our care, and I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds for him.
We also have other rescues who are ready and waiting for their forever homes!
Roxie, our beautiful black Lab mix, is still available for adoption! She’s approximately 5 years old, up to date on her shots, microchipped, and spayed. She has such a sweet, friendly personality and gets along wonderfully with the other dogs, both big and small. She absolutely loves being around people and just wants to be close to you. Based on her temperament, I think she may do well with cats too, although she hasn’t been cat-tested yet.
There’s always something going on around here, but the most important thing is that everyone is doing well and getting the care and attention they need. ❤️
