On September 16, 2026, my Bill passed away.
After nearly 48 years together, it’s hard to imagine a world without him in it. We shared a whole lifetime—our sons, our daughter in laws, family, adventures, laughter, ordinary days, hard days, and a thousand little things that were simply us.
He was Desert Dog, my “Wild Bill”, my husband, my partner and soulmate, and he loved his family and pups deeply.
We will always be Magnet & Steel. We will love him forever.
He was diagnosed with cardiac amyloidosis and his journey quickly became very difficult in the past several weeks. I’m grateful he is finally at peace.
On Saturday October 24, we will host a Celebration of Life from 12 noon to 4pm.
You are welcome to stop in. We will toast on the hour. And yes, I will resume boarding pups soon.
Sometimes the best medicine has four paws, a warm heart, and simply stays beside us.
