🎾🐾 MEET DARWIN! YOUR NEXT BEST FRIEND MIGHT BE WAITING RIGHT HERE! 🐾🎾

Say hello to Darwin! 💙 This handsome, medium-sized, 2-year-old mixed-breed boy is ready to find his people and start his next adventure! 🏡❤️

Darwin is all about the simple things in life: chasing a ball, getting those much-loved butt scratches, and spending time with people who make him feel special. 🥹🎾 He has a medium-to-high energy level, so he’d love a family who can keep him moving, playing, and enjoying everything life outside the shelter has to offer!

🏡 BONUS POINTS FOR DARWIN! He’s HOUSE-TRAINED and always keeps a clean kennel! 👏🐾 This boy already has some wonderful habits to bring into his forever home!

🐶 Could he have a canine sibling? Darwin came to us with a female dog, so we feel he may do well with another dog with a proper meet-and-greet.

🐱 Cats: Not yet cat tested.

👧 Kids: An older-kid home would be best, as Darwin can sometimes be a little protective of his territory.

🤎🐾 FOUR MONTHS. FOUR MONTHS OF WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO CHOOSE HIM. 🐾🤎

Please meet our sweet Groot at Keeping The Faith Animal Shelter and Rescue Center! ❤️

Groot has been with us for FOUR MONTHS, and we simply cannot understand how this sweet boy is still waiting for his forever family. Four months of kennel walls, watching other dogs come and go, and hoping the next person through the door might be his person. 💔

Today, one of our volunteers spent time with groot just hanging out. He didn’t need a toy or a treat. He just needed someone to sit with him and love him. He leaned against her legs and just wanted love.

That’s Groot. 🥹🤎

At 5 years old, Groot spent much of his life tied to a dog box outside. Despite his difficult past, he remains one of the sweetest, most affectionate souls you’ll ever meet. He loves people, ear scratches, butt scratches, and simply being close to those who show him kindness.

🐾 A little about Groot:

* Age: 5 years old
* Personality: Sweet, calm, affectionate, and easygoing
* Veterinary care: Neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped
* Children: Older, calmer children who understand dog boundaries are best
* Other dogs: Can do well with proper introductions and a meet-and-greet
* Farm animals: Has done well around them
* Cats: Untested

Groot doesn’t need a perfect family. He needs a family willing to give him what he’s waited so long for: a home, a soft bed, and someone who will never leave him wondering where he belongs. ❤️

Four months is long enough, Groot. Let’s not let him spend a fifth month waiting for the love he deserves.

🐾✨ AMARA IS READY TO LEAVE THE SHELTER BEHIND! ✨🐾

Can we talk about how much life Amara is missing while she waits for someone to choose her? 🥺💔

For FIVE LONG MONTHS, this beautiful girl has been living in a shelter, waiting for the family who will finally say, “You’re home, sweetheart. You’re ours.”

Five months of kennel walls instead of cozy couches. Five months of waiting for someone to throw her a ball, call her their girl, and let her settle in for a nap after a day of simply being LOVED. Five months of watching other dogs hope for their turn while she continues to wait for hers.

And for what? Why is this girl still here? 😭

Meet AMARA, our sweet 4-year-old girl who deserves SO much more than shelter life!

🎾 Her favorite things? Playing ball, spending time with her people, and enjoying the simple things that make a dog happy!

🐱 Cats? Amara can live with cats!

🐶 Other dogs? A meet-and-greet is required to ensure everyone is a good match.

👧 Kids? Children who understand not to tease her are important for Amara’s happiness and safety.

🩺 Vetting? Amara is completely vetted, up to date on shots, microchipped and spayed.

Amara has so much life left to live! She deserves to discover her favorite spot on the couch, have toys scattered around her home, enjoy family routines, and fall asleep each night knowing she isn’t going anywhere.

We keep asking ourselves how five months have passed without her forever family finding her. We know the right person is out there, but Amara can’t find them on her own. SHE NEEDS YOU TO HELP US GET HER SEEN! ❤️

❤️ ROSEANN IS STILL WAITING FOR HER FOREVER HOME. ❤️

Meet our beautiful Roseann, a 4-year-old Boxer mix with a heart that deserves so much more than kennel walls. 🥹💗

Roseann has been with us at Keeping The Faith Animal Shelter for SIX WHOLE MONTHS, and honestly? We just don’t understand why.

Why is this girl still here?
Why hasn’t someone fallen in love with her?
Why hasn’t someone looked at this beautiful face and said, “She’s the one. She’s coming home with me.”?

We know the girl behind that kennel door. We know the love she has to give. We know the joy she brings when she gets the chance to leave her kennel and just be herself. And we know she deserves a family who sees her as more than another dog waiting for adoption. ❤️

Roseann is a professional snuggler! 🛋️💕 If you have a couch, chair, or lap, she’s going to do her best to claim it! She may be a little bigger than your typical lap dog, but that certainly hasn’t stopped her from trying. She wants to be close to her people, soaking up affection and enjoying all the little things that make a house a HOME.

The shelter environment can be stressful for Roseann. She doesn’t love being confined, and we believe she would blossom with a family who can give her consistency, comfort, patience, and the opportunity to finally relax.

Imagine what life could look like for her outside these walls. A soft bed. A favorite spot on the couch. A family to greet her every morning. Someone to love her not just for a day or an outing, but for the rest of her life. 😭❤️

🏡 Dream home: A loving family who will include her in everyday life and give her the security and affection she deserves.

SIX MONTHS is a long time to watch the world go by from a kennel. Six months is a long time to hope someone will notice you. And six months is far too long for a girl who has so much love left to give. 💔

Roseann doesn’t need everyone to choose her. She just needs ONE person to see her, love her, and decide that she’s worth taking a chance on.

Please don’t let Roseann become the dog everyone feels sorry for but no one comes to meet. Be the person who changes her story. Be the reason her next chapter is filled with soft beds, happy walks, couch cuddles, and a family of her very own.
