Dear Lonesome Grove,
My daughter and I celebrated my birthday last May by coming to pick up the wonderful Wrigley (aka Tori). She is a sweet, inquisitive, excitable yet calm little girl. She loves walks, other dogs, and her toys and spends a great deal of time chewing on various bones. She thrives on routine and adores her snuggle puppy toy and her nightly dental treat. My adult daughter and two adult sons are part of her pack. She gets compliments on how pretty she is everywhere she goes. She is a joy and brings lots of laughter and love into my home!

Dear Lonesome Grove,

Fifteen years ago we adopted a beagle puppy named Otto (who we named Scout) from you. He recently passed away, two months after his 15th birthday. I'm devastated and still trying to figure out what life looks like without him. Everyone says "Fifteen years. That's amazing," but it wasn't long enough. He was the sweetest, most faithful and loving dog. Adopting him was one of the best things we've ever done. After the kids left home, he became my shadow and our bond grew even deeper, if that's even possible. So, I'm writing to say thank you for the gift of life you helped bring into this world to bless my family beyond measure. I've been forever changed because of the love of a beagle.

Dear Lonesome Grove,

Gabby (Georgia) is the best addition to our family ever. She is sooo sweet. She slept on the plane from Omaha to Phoenix to Oakland. She never cried, peed or pooped. Amazing! She is sooo smart, inquisitive, mischievous, funny, adventurous and 20 other adjectives. Thank you so much for this wonderful gift to our family!

The G litter is here!

The "G" litter are the babies of two first-time parents, Emmett and Bella.

Emmett, is the one son of Foster that has been kept to continue his line. He has Foster's great houndy looks, with a beautiful head, and kind eyes. He is gentle and good-natured. He is a full 15" inches and the clear heir of great show beagle bloodlines.

The mother of this litter is our sweet little Bella. She is the daughter of Finley (imported from Romania) and Gracie. She is a very loving new mother who has always been the first one at the gate to greet you. She lives on attention and can't get enough of people.

These babies are sweet and beautiful. They will be wonderful companions. They will be in the 15" category when grown.

The "G" litter will be old enough to leave on May 28, 2026.

They will be posted available at our website for selection on:

Dear Lonesome Grove,

"Just wanted to let you know that Dobby (Eli) had his first vet visit today, and he is as healthy as can be! The vet techs had a lot of fun with him and shared some photos to their page if you would like to check them out.

He did a great job on the way back to Fargo. We managed to make it home with no accidents! He was a little whiny, but we all were after spending five hours in the car. 😉

He is adjusting well to being in our home. On his first night, he walked right into his crate and put himself to bed. We thought it was a fluke, but he did the same thing last night. He plays hard and sleeps hard, which has been good for him and our girls. He is so sweet and easygoing and has already brought a lot of laughter to our home. Thanks for giving him such a great start! We appreciate you."
