🚨 FOSTER HOMES NEEDED BY FRIDAY! 🚨

Meet Mary & Ruby, two sweet young Cattle Dog girls born March 22nd. 🐾❤️

🤎 Ruby — brindle

These girls are looking for temporary foster homes ASAP because their current living situation is ending, and they must be moved out by this Friday.
(They can be separated.)

They’re active young dogs who need room to play, but they do well in a crate and on a leash.

They are already posted for adoption in several places, and we're working hard to find their forever homes — or get them on a transport north where they may have more adoption opportunities.
We just need a safe place for them to land in the meantime. ❤️

Have you ever thought, “You know what my life is missing? Being trapped in a rolling metal box for hours with several dogs who are absolutely convinced they are being kidnapped.”

Good news. We have an opening!

We need transport drivers to haul dogs up north. You will be confined in a van with multiple anxious passengers who do not care about your personal space, your schedule, or the fact that you once had a functioning nervous system. Some will cry. Some will pace. Some will invent new sounds specifically to test whether you still believe in joy.

Your job includes:

🦴Cleaning crates, because the romance of animal rescue is 40% love and 60% “who did that and when”
🦴Feeding and watering everyone on a schedule that does not care if you are mid-blink
🦴Bonding with a co-driver while both of you are sleep-deprived enough to start ranking gas station lighting by emotional warmth
🦴Dining exclusively on food you packed, food you found at a pump, or whatever a drive-thru can slide through a window before the next dog decides the crate is a suggestion

You will not be staying in a cute inn. You will not be “unwinding.” You will be surviving on caffeine, courtesy, and the spiritual high of wiping down plastic while a dog judges you from two feet away.

If this sounds like a great time to you — if your idea of a vacation is cramped quarters, anxious cargo, crate detail, and the culinary range of a truck stop — PLEASE REACH OUT AND WE WILL SHARE MORE DETAILS.

This video is reality! Cruel folks who do not and will not spay and neuter their pets. Then they throw them out on the roadways to die! If you get a dog be a responsible pet owner! This is out of hand and these puppies did NOT ask to be born!

Dumped in Winona, TX

“These 8 puppies have now been out here in this heat for at least 3 days that I know of.

Not one foster has stepped up. Not one rescue has taken them.

I have them temporarily barricaded in the cemetery next to where they were dumped, but they can get through the gate and fences and they are following me toward the road.

They are NOT safe.

At this point, I am genuinely afraid that we are going to find one of them dead from the heat or hit by a car.

I cannot keep them safe by myself.

I NEED FOSTERS. I NEED RESCUES. I NEED HELP.

You don’t have to take all 8. Take one. Take two. Keep one overnight. Foster for a week. Provide a crate. Provide food. Help transport.

ANYTHING.

These dogs did not choose to be dumped. They are scared, hungry, hot and following the first person who has shown them kindness.

Please. Somebody step up before we are too late.”

Meet Dixie!

We need to find an adopter or another foster within the next week.

She is a 2-1/2 year old full blood German Shepherd. Dixie is fully vetted and looking for her furever home. Here’s what her foster family has to say about her.

Dixie is very playful and loves her toys. She also loves chasing squirrels, deer and anything else that she sees in the yard. She is very affectionate and seeks lots of petting and belly rubs. Her favorite activity is playing with the golden retriever down the street. I think she would do well in a home with another large dog. She really wants to please, but is still learning impulse control. She has pretty good manners and will sit and lay down on command. She will sit and stay when I feed her until given permission to eat. She is sensitive to the heat, so she requires a lot of water. I believe that Dixie will be a great dog for someone with the time to teach her what is expected and the patience to let her grow up.
