Meet Junebug! 🌸🐾

Hi there! I’m Junebug, a 4.5-month-old, 35-pound bundle of brown-and-white sunshine currently located in Tyler, Texas. With my gorgeous markings and those big, soulful eyes, I’m pretty much the definition of “instant heart-melter.” I may be a pit mix who’s going to grow into a big, beautiful girl, but my heart is already full-sized and extra gentle.

I’m a total lover, not a fighter! I adore everyone, big people, little kids, kitties, and other dogs. Whether it’s zoomies in the yard with my furry friends or cuddling up with the whole family, I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by my people (and pets!). I’m already house trained and leash trained like a good girl, and I’m working hard on my basic commands because I really want to make you proud.
My favorite things in the whole wide world?

🐾Going for car rides with the windows down (shotgun is my seat!)
🐾Getting my very own pup cup (vanilla please!)
🐾Belly rubs that last forever
🐾Chewing on all my toys like it’s my full-time job

Even though life hasn’t always been easy, I’m incredibly resilient and bounce back with the sweetest, most loving spirit. I’m a snuggly, playful, gentle soul who just wants to be part of a forever family. I have no doubt I’ll grow up to be the ultimate gentle pup, your loyal shadow, the kids’ best buddy, and everyone’s favorite couch potato.

This happy, friendly guy was left behind when his owners moved out of state. Neighbors and friends have been feeding him until a better situation is found.

The good guys at the county crew found this tiny kitten hiding in the tall weeds beside the state highway. Sadly, its sibling was found dead on the road. 😢

We have a committed rescue willing to take this baby,
Right now, this kitten has nowhere safe to go. Without a foster, its future is very bleak. This little one has already survived so much and deserves a chance at life.

If you can foster, or know someone who can, please reach out ASAP so this baby's life can be saved.

🐾Meet Harley: Your Sweet, Snuggly Little Gentleman! 🐾

Hi there! I’m Harley, a 7-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix weighing a compact and cuddly 25 pounds. With my handsome tan-and-white coat, bright eyes, and gentle smile, I’m the perfect size for laps, adventures, and everything in between.

I’m a calm and docile little man who absolutely adores people.
Whether you’re relaxing on the couch or enjoying a quiet evening at home, I’m happiest right by your side soaking up every bit of love and company. I’m friendly, patient, and resilient—life’s little ups and downs don’t faze me! I’m also super smart and learn quickly. I already know “sit” like a pro, come when called, and I’m always eager to show off my obedience skills for a tasty treat (I’m very food motivated, in case you hadn’t guessed!).

A few of my favorite things:

🐾Snuggling with my favorite humans
🐾Playing with toys (I have a playful side that peeks out at just the right moments!)
🐾Riding in the car like a champ
🐾Going on gentle walks to keep my leg muscles strong
🐾Enjoying the outdoors... and then happily coming inside for cozy rest time

I’m fully crate trained, leash trained, and housebroken—ready to fit right into your home with minimal fuss. I’m gentle with everyone and get along well with other dogs, though I do prefer to enjoy my meals in peace (a little food aggression means I do best in a home where I can eat without competition).

🦴Right now I’m working on gaining a little healthy weight with good, high-protein food, and short daily walks help keep me happy and fit. Once I’m all filled out, I’ll be the picture of a healthy, bouncy (but still mostly chill) senior gentleman!
