We started ENS & ESI Thursday and pups are finally adapting to the routine. We will continue with our daily puppy protocols until eyes and ears both open! 🖤

✅ ENS helps stimulate neurological development, improve stress tolerance, strengthen the cardiovascular system, and build overall resilience.

👃 ESI introduces puppies to a variety of scents during a critical developmental period, helping develop confidence, scenting ability, and problem-solving skills.

These simple, age-appropriate exercises are performed during the first weeks of life and are just one of the many ways we invest in producing stable, confident, and capable working line German Shepherds.

Even before their eyes open, these little working-line German Shepherds are already surrounded by the tools of their heritage. Resting peacefully on a bite sleeve, they may not know it yet, but they come from generations of dogs bred for courage, intelligence, loyalty, and a strong desire to work alongside their handlers.
Today they're dreaming, growing, and soaking up milk. Tomorrow they'll be exploring new environments, building confidence, and beginning their journey toward becoming exceptional companions, sport dogs, working dogs, and family protectors.

🏅 CGC & CGCU Title Testing Coming Soon! 🏅

We are excited to announce that Killingbeck Kennels will be hosting upcoming AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and AKC Urban Canine Good Citizen (CGCU) evaluations!
Whether you're looking to earn a title with your dog, strengthen your training foundation, or showcase your dog's good manners, this is a great opportunity to put your hard work to the test.

📍 Location: Killingbeck Kennels & our local city park!

📅 Date: To Be Announced Soon

Open to all breeds and mixed breeds
Requirements:

✔ Dogs must be healthy and up-to-date on vaccinations.
✔ Dogs must be under control and able to demonstrate appropriate manners around people and other dogs.
✔ Dogs should be comfortable on leash and able to complete the required exercises for the title being tested.
✔ Handlers are responsible for bringing a leash, collar, and any required documentation.

Please note that these are title evaluations, not training classes, so dogs should already have the skills necessary to successfully complete the CGC or CGCU tests.
If you are interested in participating, please send me a message so I can start a list and plan a date based on interest!

Just an update! We had a stalled labor today with morgen, got meds that were needed and were back on track with a few more pups! She still has a few more to go! Just wanted to update everyone since we're already through the day. I will personally reach out to everyone on the reservation list once we're done.
