The 2004 romantic comedy Along Came Polly features a prominent ferret character named Rodolfo. Rodolfo, a scraggly, half-blind ferret, adds comedic chaos to the plot, often running into walls or wearing sweaters in scenes with Ben Stiller.
Key Details About Along Came Polly and Rodolfo:
Role: Rodolfo is the pet ferret owned by Polly Prince (Jennifer Aniston), often highlighting the chaotic lifestyle of her character compared to the protagonist's.
Comedy Elements: The ferret is involved in slapstick humor, including scenes where he careens into objects, providing a stark, chaotic contrast to Reuben Feffer's (Ben Stiller) structured life.
Production: Rodolfo was a trained animal actor used in the movie's production, and the American Humane Association monitored the set for his safety.
