Summerfest was a blast!
-
This was a great redemption weekend after starting the last one with a vet visit and being unable to show, we worked so hard to get back to her full strength to be able to show. Still lots to work on, but we had some of our best trips yet and ended champion of the open 2’6, and 7th in the classic out of 26. So proud of Athena and the progress she’s made, she was jumping her socks off and trying her heart out! Big thanks to everyone who helped us this weekend!

Another great weekend in the show ring for Team Elysian Fields!

Congratulations to all of our riders and horses on a successful show!

🏆 Head trainer, Alex LaRue & “Sean Thornton” – 🥇 1st place in a 2’ Hunter round and came in 10th place in the $300 Classic!

✨ Heiress Magana & SIG Consegal – 6th place in the $500 Classic out of a competitive field of 20 entries!

🌟 Arden & Bizzy Run – 🥇 1st place in an Academy Beginner Rider round

💙Della Craig & Spanky came in 9th in the $300 Classic and put together quality rounds in the 18” division!

🎉 A special congratulations to Alex LaRue and her newest teammate, The House Elf (“Dobby”), on a successful show debut together! We can’t wait to watch this partnership grow.

👏 Abbie Denton & “Sectumsempra RSR” aka Rolex put in consistent rides all weekend, earning multiple 5th-place ribbons in competitive 2’3” divisions.

💙 Lily & Geronimo had a fantastic show, earning 2nd in a Short Stirrup round and finishing 6th out of 12 in the $300 Classic.

🚀 Molly Moore and partner “5o1 Blastov” rode to multiple 3rd-place finishes in their 3’ rounds with confident, consistent performances.

We’re so proud of every horse and rider for their hard work, sportsmanship, and dedication.

Thrilled with how well Athena jumped around last night! I got brave and went forward and it paid off, even getting us 2nd out of a competitive 10 in one of our rounds!

So proud of my students this weekend! Lily was champion of the academy s/l in both the eq and the hunters on Geronimo and had some beautiful rounds, plus Spanky and his rider had some awesome rides in the crossrails, even getting second in her eq o/f!

So proud of all my students who showed this weekend!! Everyone laid down some beautiful trips and ended the day with some amazing ribbons in some competitive classes!! But ribbons aside I am especially proud of all the hard work these girls have put into learning their horses behind the scenes, it really showed!!

Springfest!

My best girl was a perfect angel getting us champion in the 2’6 open!! Couldn’t have asked her to jump any better and she was so game for everything. Thanks to everyone that helped us get prepped for this weekend!
