We're super excited to announce that we are recruiting dog participants for our new SIGNAL study! This study will focus on older dogs (ages 8+) of medium size.

You can help us by sharing this with any Tucson-area folks who may be interested in bringing in their dog to play cognition games with us!

Today we had our first official SIGNAL participant, Doc, come in for his cognition visit. He got to play some treat-finding games to help us learn about his brain, and was fitted with a snazzy activity monitor collar that will track his movement for the next week!

For Doc’s next visit, he will get a quick blood draw (with the aid of yummy treats for him to eat during the process), which will allow us to measure levels of the hormone IGF-1 in his body.

Thank you so much to everyone who has filled out our interest form and enrolled their dog in SIGNAL (and for those who haven’t, it’s not too late to sign up)!
