Another dog neglected silently behind closed doors in Trenton

Sometimes one person’s kindness can change a life. A local woman recently saw a post advertising a dog for sale. She immediately wanted to help, but unfortunately someone else had already gotten her. When that person later decided they no longer wanted to keep her, this compassionate woman stepped in and purchased her to ensure she was safe.
That dog is Luna.
Luna is a sweet poodle who has clearly suffered from years of neglect. We have learned that she spent much of her life confined to a basement. She is severely matted and is suffering from infections, dental issues, and other medical concerns that are now being addressed.
Despite everything she has endured, Luna is slowly learning that not all humans are bad. Thanks to the angel who rescued her, she is finally experiencing love, safety, and kindness.
Luna will need extensive ongoing grooming, veterinary care, dental treatment, and ongoing medical attention. We would love to help ease the financial burden on her rescuer so Luna can receive everything she needs to heal and thrive.
