It's Spring! Contact us to come get your furry family members out of the house!.. Daily or weekly dog walking, and feedings. Overnight and in home sitting as well! All pets welcome. Reptile specialist and lover on hand at all times. No pet turned away!

Going on a trip this spring or summer? Kennels can be very expensive, just the health requirements and shots alone are outrageous.. and not to mention boarding, (in a cage). I think it goes without saying, mom or dad leaving by itself is stressful on your pet. Then to add people they don't know, other dogs caged next to them crying and stressed as well, a new environment, and no mom and dad... doesn't sound so pleasant while your trying to relax on vacation.

Recently a dog was left at a local kennel while the family went on vacation, the dog broke out of the kennel after two days and attempted to run home..getting injured on the journey.. Why not leave your pet in their home? Where even though they might be upset your not with them, atleast they can stay in their own environment, and have someone like me stay with them overnight, or visit a few times daily to feed them in the morning, and go for a walk.. and just generally spend time with them, and give them love and companionship to ease being without you. All the while keeping intouch with you, to let you know how their doing.. Alot less stressful on your furry family members, and you can of course miss them, with out worrying and feeling guilty.

In home sitting is just one of the services I provide. Every client is different and require different levels of care. We tailor each experience to each pet and owner alike. All pets welcome. Reptile and Snake specialist On hand at all times.

Most dog breeds were developed with a specific purpose in mind, for example, sporting, working, herding and so on. Consequently, whether your pet is a purebred or mixed breed, chances are he carries genetic traits that drive him to pursue an activity.

These days many dogs don’t get opportunities to do what their breed instincts tell them to do. In addition, it’s a rare dog that exercises on his own, and YOUR BACKYARD DOESN'T provide the variety of sensory stimulation most dogs need to ward off boredom.

Dogs need walks for both exercise and mental stimulation.

According to Clinician’s Brief:

Generally, people walk their dog for 4 reasons: elimination, mental stimulation, exercise, and training. Dogs like to go for walks to get outdoors, sniff and engage with their environment, exercise, and perhaps socialize with people and dogs outside the home. There is no reason that a walk cannot encompass and meet all the needs of both humans and dogs. Because time is often at a premium, it is useful to help owners understand and find creative ways to meet these needs.

Why and how to walk your dog may seem like a ‘no brainer’ topic to many of you, but the fact is there are lots of pet owners who:

1. Don’t walk their dogs at all, or don’t do it routinely
2. Don’t make the most of the activity
3. Dread walks because their pet actually walks them, or exhibits other bad leash manners

Most people do not realize boredom creates bad habits and behaviors just like children! Is your dog CHEWING YOUR FURNITURE? or UNCONTROLLABLE? TOO EXCITED OR JUMPING WHEN YOU GET HOME OR ON YOUR GUESTS?

Most of these behaviors are due too a lack of exercise that can be cured with a simple daily walk!
