It's such a nice day that the buns were thinking of escape! No, he didn't get out but he sure tried! Rabbits are such characters with amazing personalities- I wish everyone could see how fun-loving and wonderful they are :)

So our American Doe didn't take this round :( We are going to try again soon and hopefully we'll have some babies! Still haven't decided whether to add a Harlequin or Himalayan litter as well...any requests?

*who can resist that face? Booberry- one of our American Blue bucks. NFS*

So excited to hear the news from the 2018 ARBA convention. First, our beloved Velveteen Lops passed their first review by the judges!!! One more step closer to being a fully accepted breed. The other exciting news is that a Silver Marten won Best in Show! They are a relatively new addition to our rabbitry in regards to breeding (Little Miss Stardust is our first housebun and she's a Marten...so we've had them for a while) but we love them so much. Even though we did not personally win, we can't help but be excited that a breed we are personally invested in won....and we are so proud that this rare breed is getting renewed interest by fellow breeders. So way to go all those who showed this past week!

With a nip in the air, all our buns decided it was the perfect time to molt! Not only is it a pain with fur flying everywhere, but the buns always are wayyy crankier than normal. Looks like it's going to be nail trims, brushing out excess fur, and their bi-annual worming! Let the fun begin!

We're looking at fall breedings and figuring out which buns will handle it best. Probably will have American Blues, Harlie, and Himi. Not certain though, as we need to consider room in our rabbitry. We should know in the next few days and hopefully in a month we'll have kits! :)

Pics of our new buns. They're still in quarantine (we always quarantine new buns for a minimum of a month...safer for our herd and safer for them) but brought them inside because of the extreme heat. The black is our doe and the sable our buck...super excited!!! They're still settling in and will get a chance to know us and their new home. Wonderful buns already and beautiful coats and temperament...it boggles my mind that they're a rare breed! Our little rabbitry is going to make sure they stick around for a good long time :)

We still have plenty of rabbits available for new homes. Some of our pending sales fell through so if you're interested, please let us know!

Countdown has also begun for bringing home our Silver Martens as well as planning for fall litters. Lots of fun heading our way! :)

Super excited to announce 2 new members to our herd! We'll post more info when they come home, but our rabbitry will now include Silver Martens...with a focus on the rare Sable variety! :).

Several buns available. Please excuse the poor posing (again, not my strength). With the weather, the buns have been having it rough- I have not been able to let them exercise as much as usual because of the rain and heat so they still have some extra pudge. They also are starting a hard molt, so fur is everywhere!

We do have others for sale, which we will be posting as we go along. If anyone has questions, let me know!

*please make sure you read our pinned post on our sales policy.*
