One of the aquariums I currently help maintain.

My goal is always to create a healthy environment where both fish and plants can thrive while keeping the aquarium enjoyable to view every day.

This tank features a mix of live plants, driftwood, natural stone, and a variety of freshwater fish.

Regular maintenance, observation, and consistency go a long way toward keeping an aquarium looking its best.

🐠 Dragon Guppy Spotlight

One of the fish I’ve enjoyed working with over the years is the Dragon Guppy.

This female was photographed in one of my planted aquariums and is a good example of why I enjoy livebearers so much. Even the females can display beautiful colors and patterns.

I still keep Dragon Guppies today and continue to appreciate their activity, hardiness, and variety.

🐠 Then vs. Now

Many of my older aquariums were focused on aquascaping and planted displays.

Today, much of my fish room is dedicated to breeding projects, grow-outs, and maintaining healthy fish.

While these setups may not be as flashy as a display tank, they allow me to focus on fish health, genetics, and raising quality fish.

This rack system is a big part of what I currently use to manage multiple aquariums and breeding projects.

🐠 Favorite Aquarium From My Fishkeeping Journey

One of my favorite aquariums I’ve kept over the years.

This tank helped me learn a lot about planted aquariums, maintenance, aquascaping, and creating a healthy environment for fish and plants.

While many of my tanks today are focused on breeding projects, I’ll always appreciate the creativity and patience that went into builds like this.
