If you itemize your taxes, donations can usually be deducted, including cash gifts up to 60% of your income. If you don’t itemize, you may not receive a deduction — but every donation still makes a real difference.

Recently, I had the honor of telling an elderly woman on disability that while she’s in the hospital recovering from surgery, she doesn’t have to worry about her dog. We are able to care for them completely free of charge.

The relief in her voice said everything. For her, it wasn’t just pet care. It was peace of mind during a really hard moment.

This is exactly why Critter Sitter Companions INC exists. Your generosity turns fear into comfort and makes sure no one has to choose between their health and their best friend.

💛 A little something from our hearts… 💛

Many of you know we run a nonprofit, Critter Sitter Critter Sitters Companions, which provides free pet sitting and help with vet bills for low-income disabled veterans and seniors in North Brevard. The need in our community continues to grow.

One of our amazing sitters, Mike, donates his time every day to walk the dog of an elderly woman who can’t get around easily. His dedication inspired us to share more about the work we’re doing.

He created a GoFundMe to help us cover costs so we can support even more pets and people who rely on this program. There is no pressure to donate... even sharing helps so much.
