A sweet little kitten can get awfully confident as they grow up. 😹🐾

Did yours ever go through a stage where they suddenly seemed determined to run the whole house?

There’s a developmental shift behind that bigger, bolder personality - and it can also coincide with your once-clingy kitten becoming more independent.

So is this really an “alpha” phase? Today’s post takes a closer look ➤ https://www.maine-coon-cat-nation.com/maine-coon-kitten-personality.html

Many people casually call them orange cats, so why does the Maine C**n world call that same color Red? 🧡

Red is the official term, even when the coat looks unmistakably orange or ginger to us. Depending on where you live or who you're talking to, you might hear all three words used for the same basic color.

So where did Red come from, and which term is actually correct? ➤ https://www.maine-coon-cat-nation.com/orange-maine-coon.html

Maine C***s take their time growing up, so it makes sense to wonder whether neutering can change the size they eventually reach. 🐾

Neutering can affect a cat’s body, but not necessarily in the way people assume. Growth and weight gain are two different things.

So, can the timing of neutering actually change how big a Maine C**n gets? Today’s post takes a closer look ➤ https://www.maine-coon-cat-nation.com/neuter-spay.html

My frenchie Bijou loves to play with my Maine c***s. The Maine c***s even dig the dog toys out from under furniture for Bijou. They trained each other😂

Best friends come in different species ❤️🐾

A calm, respectful dog can be one of the best companions a Maine C**n could ask for.

Today's post explores why the dog's temperament plays such a big role in making these friendships work ➤ https://www.maine-coon-cat-nation.com/maine-coon-cats-and-dogs.html

Yes, yes, yes

Does your Maine C**n do this? 😸🐾

One minute you're giving scritches..

Then when you're done, they've gently but firmly wrapped their teeth around your hand to say "don't stop!"
