Hi All, this is Charlie. It is with the heaviest heart that I let you know that Gustov crossed the rainbow bridge this morning. There was an unknown mass that had ruptured in his chest cavity, pooling fluid into his lungs and around his heart. Unfortunately there was not much that could be done and he was in too much pain.
As most of you know he was my first dog ever. I didn’t start training because of him but I am the trainer I am today because of him. I got 8 whole years of this handsome, bizarre, and fiercely loyal friend. He literally saved my life on multiple occasions and I hope he knows just how grateful I am to him.
He helped me train well over hundreds of dogs with his neutral demeanor. His favorite foods were hot Cheetos and whipped cream. His favorite toys were a dragon and a donkey.
If any of you have pictures of Gustov helping with training your dog please DM or text them to me. I’d love to see all of the lives he helped me change. I don’t know how I’m going to continue on without my boy but I know he didn’t save me multiple times to give up now.
