The 2026 grant application is now active on the website! The deadline for applications this year is Tuesday, October 13th. Please make sure to follow ALL of the guidelines in the application so your application is accepted. 🙏🐴🎉💰

CUHA is proud to be able to support equine non-profits and horse rescues such as LASSO. Here is a heart warming story of a horse named Valor ❤️ Enjoy your well earned retirement, Valor!

LASSO also manages a CUHA funded hay bank that supplies hay to horse owners in times of temporary hardship. Keep this in mind if you know somebody struggling to feed their horse(s) 🙏🐴

VALOR, the little red horse every crazy horse person wishes would come into their life. He is kind, patient, and always a solid equine teacher. Valor has been a favorite therapy provider in LASSO events involving the challenged community and routine activities.
Well deserved retirement has finally come for Valor in a forever home with one of our favorite veterinarians and her beloved horse Seuss.
