This is our pit mix puppy Leo playing with his toy like a the good boy he is.

We don’t share our pups a whole lot and honestly it’s due to their breeds Leo being a pit mix I find myself defending him every second and I wouldn’t trade it for the world because I will always vouch for my dogs no matter the breed it all depends how they are raised. Instead of looking beyond his breed people jump to conclusions, I have always gotten comments when we are out and about that he looks “scary” “you should put that dog down” “he will kill you one day” and all of that is wrong I have always owned the bully breeds and I will stand by that breed until I die I have never in my life met the “killer” breed these dogs are beyond loyal beyond loving.

If your new here I had a cane corso and I defended his breed every single day he was my ride or die and the biggest teddy bear you’d meet he loved children he would walk up to strangers kids and lay down to show he was gentle no he was not taught that at all but that’s what he done.

Now we have Leo and I will die on this hill defending him he is the sweetest dog you’d ever meet he’s the biggest baby the world would ever know.

🚨Don’t judge the breed judge the dog!! 🚨 🐾 🐾🐶

Even in the darkest of times these 2 boys still make me laugh on a daily 😂 it never fails every time I go into their room they come out looking at me with 1 shared brain cell amount the 2 of them.
These 2 boys are so similar in personality yet come from 2 completely different places it amazes me how much they are alike. My little twins 🐾❤️

Today is a really hard day for us here at Pet Stylish as we lost 2 of our beloved ferrets at once it was very unexpected.

Cricket our adrenal baby passed away today she lost her battle with this disease even though things were looking so good for her. Her hair was growing back she was being so sweet after her hormone imbalance she had her implant put in but yesterday morning she had a seizure and rushed to the hospital immediately and kept having them throughout the day into early this morning, she ended up passing away at 5:36am. She fought hard and long but her little body couldn’t take it anymore. DIP🌈 Cricket Jane🌈

Theo was put to sleep today at 10:46am due to a tragic accident. Falling from a cat tree and breaking his neck and unfortunately there was no hope he would not eat he was on medicine and just to fragile to continue so we made the hard decision to put him to sleep as he had no quality of life even if surgery could fix his neck he’d never be able to walk again. This tragic accident has opened my eyes greatly he should not have passed away and we will no longer keep any size cat trees even though the one I got was barley 3ft tall it was enough to harm one of our babies. So PSA to all ferret parents be cautious with everything you bring to your babies because even though you may think it’s safe to have it may not be. DIP🌈 Theodore Blake🌈

Ranger & Leo

The boys got an upgrade!!

From having 1 dog to 2 somethings needed a change in our home to accommodate these 2 rather large pups we have gotten in our home

I want to say groovethiswoodshop done a fantastic job on our boy’s new food and water stand it was the easiest thing I have ever put together in my life with super simple instruction with pictures AND words!!! It’s very rare now to have instructions with both and it made everything so much easier to put together. Took less than 10 minutes and it’s super sturdy and very adorable it fits my home perfectly with everything else going on.

The dog crate was from Temu and honestly can’t expect much from then but this dog crate is super cute and sturdy as well it was just a bit hard to put together took about 2.5 hours by myself.

Overall I think the boys like there new things I know I sure do it matches everything else I have going on and I can’t be more happy with how each one turned out.

Old news here but today has hit different for me. After years and years of building this business up from the ground to home in a blink of an eye it has honestly got to me today.

If you wasn’t here for the very beginning we use to be called RatStylish which shortly turned to PetStylish and it all started when I was in high school over 13 years ago in my art class where my teacher had went to Joann’s and bought a load full of fabric for the class and I had a pet rat named Lilly where I made hammocks and liners for her cage and my teacher was impressed with my skills and bought her dog a small bed that I made and from there it blossomed into a business where I sold products for people’s pets all over the United States and it was the best I enjoyed every minute of it.

Years go on and it grew and grew unexpectedly and I was in it deep but mental health has always been a problem for me so I did have some set backs here and there but always picked it right back up.

This is not a pick it back up and go anymore we lost Joann’s a few years ago and it broke me my business was no longer a business. I have searched for the super soft flannel fabric all over and honestly there isn’t much out there and it’s so sad that my business stopped I miss it so much the people the products just everything came crashing down over night.

Now a days we only post our pets which is fine but I truly miss the old ways of this page

Cricket UPDATE!!!

On June 10th we rescued 3 sweet ferrets from a lady who needed help getting vet care for her ferrets she cared deeply but unfortunately these babies need medical care she just couldn’t afford so we took them in and one of those babies was a very sever case of adrenal disease she had about 20% of her hair left in her whole body.

We took her to our vet and had an implant placed within 2weeks of having her and named her Cricket. Once home and medicated we waited and waited but unfortunately after about 3 months she was still losing a lot of her hair she had hardly any left on her entire body only a few hairs around her face.

Took her back to our vet where they gave her Lupron and what a difference that has made our vet has guessed she just needed and extra boost because her melatonin levels was all over the place she finally started growing hair back everywhere quickly might I add 😂 we took her back to the vet this week for a check up and she is doing so much better.

Our vet stated that he has never seen a ferret bounce back so fast after losing over 90% of her body hair she is doing so much better we go back ever 1-2 months for lupron for the mean time and every single year for a new implant.

Cricket is thriving we keep her on critical care every single day twice a day for extra boost to get her weight up as she is tiny but she is gaining weight and doing GREAT!!!! 😌

LIFE UPDATE ❤️❤️

Our life has went through it the past couple weeks guys and I’m here to got be everyone an update on what’s been happening.

First off if many of you may noticed we did get a new puppy that in itself has been exhausting and time consuming with training and adjusting to managing time for everyone. Potty training is going well very few accidents and he is starting to ask to go outside when he needs to potty even if it’s every 10mins 😂

Second our sweet adrenal baby Cricket is starting to grow fur back!!! After 2 implants and a medication adjustment she is finally growing back her fur GO CRICKET!!!

The ferrets are doing so well overall and taking the new schedule adjustment VERY well which I was worried that they would not adjust well to change but they are little troopers for that one.

As for me though I have had some medical issues that has been brought to my attention and we are still trying to figure out what’s going on with me.

RESULTS ARE IN!!!

We got them a little earlier than expected and we DID NOT GUESS a single breed right I don’t think anyone did!! 😂😂😂

Catahoula was not in my bucket list as a breed for him OR a great pryeness but looking back at it now it does explain a lot.. 🤷‍♀️😂

NOW the 5% Yorkie sure did come out of left field that really shocked me I never in a million years would have guessed that breed.

Guess our new puppy’s breed!!

On August 13th we sent in an embark DNA test to find out what our road side puppy is because we have literally no idea no parents to compare him too!

We have had some great guesses, husky, pit mix, hunting dog, Brittany Spaniel, Beagle, Aussie mix. What do you think he is?

My guess is a Beagle PitBull mix but I could be completely wrong who knows. 🤷‍♀️ just one week away from finding out what he may be!!
