-An infection in any part of the body (eg womb or chest infections)
-Excess weight being placed on one foot because the donkey has pain in the opposite foot
-Access to too much grass
-Access to cereal or other sugar rich feed
Hormonal imbalances/disturbances.

As I travel and trim, I’ve seen my fair share of chunky donkeys/burros, and I just want to show everyone, what can happen if they continue down that path.

X-rays are from my foundered guy Jack. He was given to me by someone who didn’t take care of him properly for years, and this is the result.

Please don’t overfeed your donkeys, no sugar, no high protein! Bermuda or barley straw is best, and if you need to give pellets, only give grass hay pellets!

These poor guys are so sensitive, let’s all do right by them!!!

Hey everyone! I’m going to start booking out 2 weeks! I graduate from Tucson School of Horseshoeing next Thursday! Burros, Mules, Minis and Horses, I’ll do them all! I am extremely patient and knowledgeable. I will service almost all of Phoenix and Tucson, there’s almost no where I won’t go!

Had fun trimming this little burrito this morning! This is what I call a lap donkey 😂
