The ups and downs of my business over the past two years have been so very stressful. I truly appreciate everyone who has supported us.
I know I'm a great dog trainer and that I absolutely love what I do. I like to think Jenny and I are needed, just as Rocky Junior and I were needed. But the changing landscape of Internet marketing is still something I'm having a very hard time conquering and making sense of. I keep working at it.
On August 20 I got two new clients. The money allowed me to pay my big bills: rent, phone, cable and Internet. There wasn't much left, but I thought I would certainly get at least one more sale within two weeks - but none came.
Now we are in a very desperate place and need your help. Three months ago Yelp offered me a free premium listing, as I had cancelled my ads because they weren't performing. I took the offer, but still, no leads or income.
Then came today: Yelp billed me $196.06, which overdrew my business account. I complained, but was told Yelp is a business and since I had already received one month of paid time beyond the three free months they refused to offer me a refund. No sympathy, no listening to circumstances, just cold, hard business.
No refund will come. I have only $150 to my name, in my personal account. I don't have much food at all, and am going to need gas soon. My next guaranteed income is not until July 9, when my Social Security payment arrives.
I have lessons every day, including trips to Port Orchard and Seattle.
Oh, and the cats. I am running low on their food, Science Diet Light.
If you could help, even just a little bit, I would be SO grateful! I have switched my Venmo so funds will go to my personal account. If you must use Zelle, please let me know in advance because as of the moment any donations would just apply to the negative balance of my business account.
Thanks! Here are photos of Jenny, Rocky Junior and I being reunited after my hospitalization for a stroke, and visiting Rocky Junior at Summit, when everyone thought death was imminent. If you recall, Rocky Junior amazingly went into remission from kidney failure and lived 8 more wonderful months.
