All the crickets taste the same you guys...there are a dozen in your tank...come on now 😆 Our two Big Scaled Least Geckos seem to both think that this particulary unlucky cricket was seasoned the best apparently 🦎🦗

On todays episode of the Emerald Swift Files, our male is doing another one of his derpy stunts. He is fine, physically anyway. Mentally we couldn't say 😅 We will post his "wakeup" on our story. Anyway, just like him, today is just going to be a lot of chores around the animal room and "hanging out"! 🤟🏼 Hope everyone has a blessed Sunday!

Hey everyone, sorry for the pause in posts - we were on a much needed family vacation. But we are BACK and ready to fill your feed with more adorable geckos (like one of our lovely viper geckos below), beautiful frogs, and mesmerizing sand boas! (Yes he has his tail, it's hanging down on the other side of the horn 😄)

So get ready for some awesome h**p content ✅️🦎🐍🐸💚

Holy , our baby ashy reef gecko is starting to show its colors! 🌈 And isn’t it fascinating that they can still blend in??? The lighting was a little dark, but the gecko is still very shy so snapping a photo is hard! We will continue to document the color changes, and sneak a photo when it allows us to!

This fella will be available at our next expo in November, so definitely come and check us out in a few months! Details about the upcoming expo will be shared soon 😉✅

Happy to all our followers! Today we introduce a quite extraordinary gecko. It is one of the world’s smallest, and one of our personal favorites: The Fantastic Least Gecko! ✨🦎

The Fantastic least gecko (Sphaerodactylus fantasticus) is one of the world's smallest reptile species, growing to just a few centimeters in length. It naturally inhabits the Caribbean, specifically Dominica, Montserrat, and the Guadeloupe archipelago. This tiny gecko is divided into nine distinct subspecies, each with unique patterns and limited regional ranges (such as black-head or yellow-head variations).

Another great option for a low maintenance, fun-to-watch pet that hardly takes up any room! We hope yo have some babies soon, so stay updated by continuing to check up on our Facebook and Instagram pages for all our recent updates! ✅✨🦎

Our today is the captivating eyes of our handsome Geronimo. He is a super Dalmation crested gecko. The intricate details are just absolutely breathtaking; God is a master of creation, and we try hard to be good stewards of all of His works!

Psalm 104:24
– "How many are your works, Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures."

A majority of keeping and breeding reptiles properly is maintaining clean and correct enclosures and tubs. We clean ours at least quarterly with a good squeeze of dawn and water, or a spray down with veterinarian grade cleaner, and in between washes we do complete substrate changes monthly, while spot cleaning daily. This ensures our animals stay in clean bedding, do not succumb to illness, and remain happy and healthy 24/7, 365 days a year. With another pair of sand boas about to be bred, we definitely wanted to ensure their tubs were spotless - every couple deserves a perfect honeymoon 😉🐍❤️ (for non-bioactive, those require much less maintenance thanks to isopods and springtails!)
