Guys, she doesn’t want diamonds…she wants ✨Emeralds✨. The husband outdid himself this time and now Kattegat Creek Exotics is extremely happy to say that we now own a gorgeous pair of these Emerald Swift lizards! (They have been the wife’s dream for a long time 🥰)

Sceloporus malachiticus, or the Emerald Swift, is a small, vibrantly green lizard from the cloud forests of Mexico and Central America, known for its bright coloration and quick movements. These diurnal reptiles (active during the day) are insectivores, eating ants, beetles, and spiders, and are popular in the pet trade, though they can be skittish and are best suited for experienced keepers. They require specific care, including high humidity, UVB lighting, and a varied diet, and are live-bearers, giving birth to live young. They typically grow to be 6–8 inches long, and their scales are stiff and keeled, giving them a spiny appearance 💪🏻💥

We cannot wait to watch this pair mature and hopefully produce some fantastic babies!🦎💚💙 Continue to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Morph Market as we continue to grow our collection with some of the most fascinating and EXOTIC species you can find! 🥰

Oh do we have a surprise for everyone on this beautiful ! We just got this pair in and we are SO excited and cannot wait for some tadpoles 🥹❤️

The Peacock Dart Frog (Dendrobates tinctorius "Tumucumaque"), is a striking, relatively large poison dart frog native to the Tumucumaque mountains of South America. Famous for its brilliant blue-and-yellow patterned skin, it thrives in bioactive, high-humidity terrariums and makes a bold, active display pet.

These guys are also some of the largest dart frogs, maturing at around 3 inches in length! They can also live up to 15 years with proper care, so they are a great pet for your little one to grow up with, or for you to enjoy for a very long time!

“True heroism is remarkably sober, very undramatic. It is not the urge to surpass all others at whatever cost, but the urge to serve others at whatever cost.” - Arthur Ashe

Today we remember and give thanks to those brave men and women who have fought and died for this country. Their service and sacrifice for this country are what set us apart, and give us the freedom we enjoy every day.

By far one of our most social dart frogs - they meet us at the glass (especially during feeding time) and we can even hold our adults. If you are wanting a fun, beginner friendly, and interactive frog to enjoy and amaze your friends with, you definitely need to acquire one (or four?) of these guys! 🙌🏻

Our Blue Poison Dart Frogs (Dendrobates tinctorius 'Azureus'), are striking, fully terrestrial South American frogs famous for their vibrant blue skin and black spots. They are larger than some of our other dart frog species, growing to about one to three inches in length from snout to vent! 💙 They are loving their breakfast buffet of tasty fruit flies! 🪰
