She's got the whole chair available to her, but apparently the little cave underneath is where the real comfort is. 🥰🐾

Curled up, cozy, and completely content. Because apparently, this is the best seat in the house. 😂

Today we got to spend some time with Aunt Candy, who gets the privilege of having our handsome stud boy Tater as her full-time boy. ❤️🐾

But today, Tater had to share the spotlight because Aunt Candy introduced us to the newest member of her family, Luna! 🐶💕

Luna is a beautiful Australian Shepherd rescue who was found wandering the streets of Phoenix this summer. After no family could be located, she was spayed, microchipped, brought completely up to date on her vaccinations, and, most importantly, found her way into a wonderful forever home with Aunt Candy. 🏡❤️

We absolutely LOVE our well-bred, carefully planned purebred Aussies. We believe in responsible breeding, health testing, temperament, structure, and knowing where our dogs come from. But we also believe something just as strongly:

Registration papers aren't what make a good dog. ❤️

A good dog is a good dog, whether they come from a carefully planned breeding program or a rescue situation.

We are HUGE proponents of rescue, and we couldn't be happier that Candy was able to give Luna the loving home she deserves. 🥰

And because we're us 😂, we're running a full genetic health panel on Luna this week, just like we do with our own dogs. It won't change how much we love her, but it will give us valuable information about her genetics and help us be better informed about any health considerations or opportunities that may come up in her future.

When Mike comes home, Millie has exactly one thing on her mind… **DADDY TIME.** 🥰🐾

Forget personal space. Forget sitting normally. Forget getting comfortable. 😂

If Mike is home, Millie needs to be on his lap, soaking up every second of love and attention. ❤️ She missed her guy, and she’s making sure he knows it!

That face says it all… **“You’re home, so you’re not going anywhere now.”** 🥹🐶❤️

🚨 **ATTENTION, EVERYONE! DINNER HAS NOT BEEN SERVED!** 🚨

Velma has taken on the very important job of being the **town crier** for the whole pack. 📣🐾

Every evening, she puts her paws up on the armrest, paws at me, and makes sure I understand that **the dogs are hungry, dinner is late, and apparently I need to get my act together.** 😂

She doesn't just ask for dinner… she makes sure the entire household is informed that dinner is supposed to be happening **RIGHT NOW.**

Nobody appointed her.
Nobody trained her.
And yet somehow, she takes this responsibility very seriously. 😂❤️
