As we move towards colder weather, more people will be travelling by car. Due to the lack of animals that drive, they'll still be walking to their destination even in cold and dark conditions. It's our job to be careful and take more caution when driving in difficult conditions, it's difficult for them too! These small acts of kindness will help keep animals alive and inspire others to do so as well. Take care of our planet and it's lovely animals xx

When you plan for this holiday season, don't forget about those family members that will be staying home! Who you choose to trust to care for your pet whilst you're away might be the best gift you can give them this year. I am fully insured and fully committed to giving your pet the warm and cosy holiday staycation they deserve. I have been taking care of others' pets for over 15 years, and there's a reason families repeatedly trust me to do so. The last thing you want to worry about when you're away celebrating is your pet's wellbeing. I'm always happy to have a chat about how I can provide the same love and care your pet would get if you were home. 🐾🖤

Did you know that September can be a tricky adjustment period for pets? 🐾

After weeks of continuous attention, constant play, and lively summer activity with the kids at home, the sudden silence of the house can trigger confusion, boredom, or mild separation anxiety in dogs and cats.

Here are 3 quick tips to help your pet ease into the post-summer routine:

🍁 Stick to consistent feeding and walking times so they know what to expect.

🍁 Leave interactive toys or lick mats out when you leave for the school run.

🍁 Break up long, quiet days with a mid-day walk or drop-in visit!

I'm here to give your pets the attention, play, and potty breaks they miss during quiet school hours.

💬 Comment "VISIT" below or send me a quick message to check availability for daytime drop-in care!

Today is World Smile Day!! 😁I'd love to see all your pets' smiles. Let's share what things we do to keep our pets' teeth healthy and happy! I try to limit softer treats as they tend to stick and stay on their teeth. I'm always happy to keep up with your pet's dental hygiene while you're away! 🥰

The environment you create for your pet makes a big difference. Animals get anxious just like we do. I'm a strong believer in the power of music. Your pet doesn't have to be a previously abused rescue to benefit from the magic of a calming melody. Studies everywhere show that music can influence your mood. I even did my own experiments and reports on it in school. 🎶

This can be a really helpful tool during stressful occasions. Halloween is approaching, and trick-or-treating is becoming more popular each year. While some pets get excited meeting new people all night, others struggle with the occasion. Strangers constantly coming to the door of the place they're supposed to feel safe in can be overwhelming, but the right music can make a world of difference if you still want to participate in Halloween. 🎃 👻

I'll link here one example of music you could leave on all night for your pet in whatever safe space you set up for them in your home. You can still enjoy the things you like without forcing your pet to sit in agony. Just like having a kid, make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in your care 🥰
