I believe we should implement a fine for pet owners who do not microchip their animals or provide properly fitting collars with ID Tags. Millions of dogs end up in shelters simply because their owners fail to equip them with basic identification. In just a few seconds of scrolling, I can find multiple posts of pets being surrendered to already overburdened, stressed shelters—pets who have families. This is a simple step; we must ask, why is this so difficult for people to do for their beloved pets?

Five owner surrender dogs when you don’t spay and neuter you end up with Puppies over and over again what can we do? People don’t care here. They are five angels surrendered from flea infested environment now cleaned up and vetted - adorable 3lb. 3 mos.old
