This buck was shot last Wednesday with a crossbow tracked it the following day and found him bedded down 300yrds from the shot location, was hard to tell condition but was very much alive, day 2 he was bedded about 50yrds from previous day but still very much alive but I could see blood down his side. Fast forward to yesterday (Monday) now 6 days after the shot these videos were taken. I can’t make out a wound and deer looks to be very healthy and eating. Never the less the hunter has piece of mind and I was able to get some neat videos. More videos in comments.

Been slow for recoveries after opening weekend which I hope was a good thing for hunters, thinking the snow really helped. Found a tough one this morning, last night I found him quite fast, was definitely hurting and walking very slow. This morning I found him again approx. 200yrds from where we seen him last night tucked deep in some dense pines. Photos like a where’s Waldo to even see him. Honestly checked the spot 3 or 4 times while searching before I determined it was indeed a deer. You can see on the thermal cam the small spot.

It was brought to our attention that the number on our page wasn’t correct. I apologize to anyone that may have tried to call or text from the number on the page. I mixed up numbers in the number in the “About” section, it was correct on the profile picture. It has since been fixed. After following this deer for a couple days for a hunter, always finding him bedded down and not happy, we thought for sure we’d get a good outcome. Giving it one final look this evening we determined that this one will keep on keeping on. He was up, alert, walking around and enjoying some dinner.

Another success this afternoon 😁 took a bit but we found him! Helped find his first buck! Heck of a first one to get!
