🚩 Senior Dogs Need a Second Chance 🚩

Senior Bogart who does good with other dogs. A Meet -N-Greet is still required. He’s NOW the Longest Resident at St Joseph County Animal Control . His Adoption & Neuter are sponsored. He Absolutely Loves to be with his people and to snuggle up with them. He walks good on a leash and does enjoy his walks with Our Volunteers. They may not be long walks but he still Loves them.

🎃🐾 SATURDAY IS THE DAY OF OUR SCARE-VENGER HUNT...We are really hoping this event is a HUGE SUCCESS, because we really need to raise some funds.🙏
You DON'T have to dress up to participate, but there will be a costume contest and prize awarded for the winner.
You also DON'T have to have a teammate, because you can do the HUNT yourself.
There will be snacks, prizes, hunting for treasures, costumes, and an awesome shopping experience.
It's just $15 to participate, and HELP RAISE MONEY FOR THE ANGELS.
Join us Saturday at 5:30 and HUNT until 7:30...the
Allen Antique Barn is open until 8 pm that evening, so there will be plenty of time to HUNT & SHOP.
The Barn is located at 9247 W Chicago Rd Allen Mi.🐾🎃

Ruffles what's to know if you have a spot open on your lap for him 🤔❤️🐾. He is our longest resident!

Once he settles in his personality really comes out! He gets zoomies in the yard, makes all kinds of noises talking to you and wants lots of pets.

He is good with dogs and cats!
Potty trained!
Crate trained!
11 years old And 20 pounds of a pug mix.

You will be forever entertained with him!

DID YOU KNOW?

Tennis balls are actually dangerous for dogs!
1. They are bad for their teeth. Just ask Timber. He wore his teeth down before I knew better.

The fuzz is actually quite abrasive, and accumulated dirt and sand increases the abrasive quality of the ball. As your dog chomps on a tennis ball, the fuzz acts like sandpaper, gradually wearing down her teeth in a process called “blunting.”

2. They are more of a choking hazard than other ones. They do not have any cut outs that could help save the dogs life if swallowed.

My dogs obviously love balls so now they only get the rubber ones that have holes in them.

Update - On hold for a family

Elliot is 4 year olds and 7 pounds. He is good with dogs, cats and I would say respectful kids. What he really wants is just to be with someone. To sleep in bed, to be carried around, to follow you room to room.

He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention.

He is so sweet, crate trained, basic commands and waits to eat, kid and dog and cat friendly... LOTS of energy.
Need a home without chickens. That's the only reason they are rehoming. They found him as a stay a couple months ago.

About 30 pounds and under a year old.

Ruffles needs you! He is looking for his retirement home! He LOVES naps, walks, treats and car rides.

Once settled in his really let's his personality shine. He had taken over the laundry basket as his new bed and he thinks it's great! He sometimes even talks to you. Not barking, talking. He appreciates it if you respond 😉.

Ruffles is about 20 pounds and somewhere around 11 years old. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on prevention, microchipped and had his eye looked at and no action needs taken at this time.

He was a stray at our local animal shelter and then when his owner did come from they said they didn't want him 😥. Thankfully, he came to us and he was ready to put his old life behind him and enjoy his new level of spoiled. He is good with dogs and cats and I would say older children that can respect a senior dog. He is currently living with two large hounds and 2 cats but also didn't mind my small bratty dogs either.
