Just at fyi. I am on vacation in the Azores. Have gotten many requests for move Ups for upcoming trials and have tried to respond to all. I will send updated confirmations when I return later this week (assuming our flight goes out - we had trouble getting here because of weather on the way here). But rest assured I will process all requests once i return.

AKC Scentwork trials and seminar updates:

6/6-7/2026 - RIKC - 2 different locations in RI (same as last year) Full with a waitlist. Closes 5/29.
6/27-28/2026 - GBAEC, Marlboro, MA Open. Sunday has more room than Saturday, but some classes are full both dates and waitlist started. You can email me for availability. Closes 6/12.
7/11-12/2026 - Sleeping Giant Agility Club of Connecticut, Durham, CT, open. Still room. Closes 5/29.
7/18-19/2026 - North Shore Kennel Club, Topsfield Fair in Mass, Opens for entries. Random Draw on 6/2. Mail to Annette Tietz per the premium please.
7/25/26 - Working HD workshop with Jen Anderson in Burlington, MA - still a few spots left. Email me for information.
8/2/26 - NEMA, The Ark, Harvard, MA Opens 6/15
8/8/26 - Mayflower Corgi Club, Burlington, MA Open for all breeds (Trial 1 is full with waitlist, Trial 2 still has a few runs left). Closes 7/25.
9/13: SAVE THE DATE for a double detective trial (Pending approval by AKC), CT
9/18-20/26 - NCDC, Goshen, CT
9/25-27/26- Mayflower/Nutmeg PWD combined trial Ashford, CT NEW SITE!!!!
10/17/26 - WKC, The Ark, Harvard, MA
10/18/26 - NEDTC, The Ark, Harvard, MA
10/24/26 - GSDCSNH, Northfield, NH
10/25/26 - Moving on Up Seminar with Annette Tietz and Jen Anderson, Wakefield, MA. Email me for information. Novice and Advanced levels.
10/31/26 - BOO! Moving on Up Seminar with Annette Tietz and Jen Anderson, CT. Email me for information. Excellent/Master/Detective levels.
11/7-8/2026-LEAP Agility Club - East Windsor, CT. Double Novice and Advance trial.
11/14 - YGRC, The Ark, Harvard, MA
11/15 - Teamwork, The Ark, Harvard, MA
11/21-11/22 - Annette and Liz and I are going to work a trial in Maryland - double trial, all levels, both days. Come on a road trip and join us! Your dog wants you to!
12/6 - SAVE THE DATE - double element trial (not all elements). Still in the works.

Hi Folks. I am helping Annette be a first-time Trial Secretary for NSKC in July. As most of you know it is random draw and the entry period is open. Hand deliveries are accepted. If you are at Yankee trial tomorrow, Annette is there so you can hand deliver there. FYI.

Still room at Sleeping Giant 7/11-12 Durham, CT.
GBAEC opens 5/5. Marlboro, MA
Corgi soft open for Pembroke's ony 5/1. Burlington, MA Check premium for all-breed opening date.
NSKC opens 5/7. Random draw so PLEASE do not spend $25 on postage!
Also, I have room at the Handler Discrmination Working Clinic 7/25 with Jennifer Anderson in Burlington, MA. Just a few spots left.

With how crazy the mail has been, and until we have online entries, I’m changing some of my trials to random draw when the clubs are amenable. Today, I was talking to someone about it and they said they hear negative things about random draw all the time but I kind of feel that it gives everybody the same chance of getting in assuming they get their entries in during the entry period. I’d like to hear people‘s thoughts on it. It is not any more or less work for me for data entry so it really doesn’t matter to me, but I would like to hear thoughts. Also, please keep in mind that this is not comparable to NACSW random draw because entry counts allowed at NACSW are so much smaller than Akc trials. I do not have such huge waitlists for trials as NACSW does.

RIKC June 6-7 is full with entries rec'd thru Friday and all confirmations have been sent. Will send waitlist emails today.

Confirmations for all RIKC entries received through Thursday have been sent. We likely will be filled with the entries I am receiving today. Waitlist will be maintained.
