Last night's icing adventure yielded some great results and information. We'll have some "after" pictures this evening. We are working with a couple of icing recipes trying to develope the healthiest option that looks great at the same time. We witnessed some significant cracking with the Greek yogurt bases icing after dehydration. So, we will keep at it. There are a few great commercial dog safe icings out there. However, they are pretty pricey. We're trying to develope our own with as few ingredients as possible to deliver a healthy and affordable product to our clients! Tonight's agenda is icing development. We have used several prefabricated, brand named dog safe icings so far. They're great. However, we are determined to have EVERYTHING made in house to have as much control as possible over the entire process and to deliver the highest level of consistency possible to our clients! Science is great! However, nature had everything your pups need. We've cracked the code on preservation through our dehydration process that allows all natural treats with just 5 total ingredients to be safely stored for up to 3 months. Of course, your dog will love them so much that there's no need to keep them that long! Preservatives and fillers are empty calories and have lasting health implications for your best friend. Why chance it? Let us make a batch for your pooch! And remember to like and share!
