Our family, our animals, and one of our pet guests, Jamie, experienced a fire in our home last Tuesday. For all of our pet lovers out there, we realized quickly how challenging it is for the animals when a disaster strikes. When we are settled back into our home, we will start to board animals again. In the meantime, our family has committed to set something up for pets who experience disaster. Stay tuned! Hug your loved ones, including the furry, feathered, and scaly ones! 🐈‍⬛🐶🐍🦆🦜🐹

This guy, Mylz, was part of our family for 16 wonderful years. One of a kind. He could run for days, and he was a professional food scrounger. Drop something edible? Gone in seconds—no regrets. (Except maybe that one time he “intentionally” paired brownie mix with dry onion soup mix. Bold choice, Mylz.)

National Dog Day or not, our pets are perfectly imperfect. Whether they eat everything in sight, fart like champions, chew what they shouldn’t, or insist on sleeping in our beds—we love them endlessly. ❤️

Meet my friend, Joanna, and her adorable pups, Paisley and Maya—the newest members of our pet-loving family! From a fun car ride to our very first hello, Paisley and Maya quickly made themselves at home in our cozy space. It’s extra special because I’ve known their mom for over 43 years, making drop-off easy peasy! Even if you're not in the Stillwater area, trust us— we are your pet’s happy home away from home and it is worth the drive. Friends forever just reached a whole new level!

**📢 Guest Spotlight: Buddy! 🐾🔥**

If you’ve been following us for a while, you probably recognize this familiar (and very cute) face! Buddy is one of our favorite repeat guests, and he has a *knack* for finding the warmest spots in our house. 🏡✨

After braving the *frigid* 6-degree weather this morning, he went straight to his favorite toasty vent to warm up those chilly paws. ❄️➡️🔥 Whether he’s snuggled in his bed, our bed, a cozy chair, or parked right on top of the heater, Buddy knows how to stay warm in style! We love having him as part of the family! 🐶💛

Jamie is proof of just how much of a difference adoption can make!

We took Jamie on a field trip to the breathtaking snow sculptures in Stillwater, MN, where we had to visit Team Mexico! 🇲🇽❄️ Jamie’s journey is as heartwarming as her story—she was rescued by my friend, Annie, from Isla Mujeres, and with a little help from my friend, Tracey, she made her way to Minnesota. From sunny beaches to snowy adventures, Jamie is now living her absolute best life! 🌊➡️❄️
