This groups of pups are enrolled in our training program. These be puppies are Aussiedors ( labrador retriever, Australian Shepherd mix) these puppies were raised very meticulously with the puppy culture protocol and at just eight weeks their first training session is off to a running start with a focus and sit, which they all learned in about five repetitions! Now we are taking this out on the road and taking them for a nice long walk around the property stopping every so often to reinforce what we’ve learned! I’ve also done remarkably well adjusting to their crates! Kaigan Kennels

Public Access day 1 for Mango Park

Mango day 8 with working with food distractions. Mango is a highly motivated dog by food. She has very little self-control when it comes to food being left out. We have worked really hard on the off command, and she is becoming more and more reliable around ignoring food. At the end of this video, she is sitting behind the food bowls, and I recall her straight to hand with a sit finish. She did a great job.!

Therapy dog training is so rewarding! But there are many facets to the Training. Today we are working on Mango’s door manners.
Sitting before, and after doors was something that she was not. To say the day ago, we have every time we go in and out. Many Therapy Dog certification tests ask you to perform door manners and if you do not practice every day, anticipate out the door…
