An annual exam is more than just a checkup. 🐶

During your dog’s wellness visit, our team may assess weight, heart and lung health, teeth and gums, joints and mobility, and recommend bloodwork based on age and risk factors. This National Pet Wellness Month, schedule an exam to support early detection and lifelong preventive care.

🍂 Fall views are better from a safe window.

Even indoor-only cats can leap, climb, or push against a screen when something outside catches their attention, and standard insect screens aren’t always strong enough to hold them.

Help keep your cat safely inside:

🐾 Use securely fitted, pet-resistant screens or window guards

🐾 Check screens regularly for tears, loose frames, and gaps

🐾 Limit how far unscreened windows can open

🐾 Take extra precautions in apartments and high-rise homes

A secure window lets your cat enjoy the view and gives you greater peace of mind. 🐈

Whether you adopted from a shelter, rehomed from a friend, or welcomed a new puppy or kitten into your family, establishing a relationship with a veterinarian right away is essential.

Rabies vaccination is one of the first things we'll confirm or establish for any new pet. Even if the previous owner says they were vaccinated, we recommend having records transferred and reviewed.

🐱 Cats are experts at hiding pain, so small behavior changes matter. Watch for hiding more than usual, reduced grooming, decreased appetite, litter box changes, irritability, or lower activity levels. Routine veterinary care supports early detection and pet wellness.
