rattler.. 10. 4. 14 (info)
this to add to my DOG'S FILE as with each of them, after Roper and Scratch who I had for near 10 yrs, ( this is in 2014). I raised "RATTLER" from a puppy, thanks to the gift from my late sister, who put him under my desk and when I moved my feet. What a find..... Next came RACHET who I got out of the Lake Charles Calcasieu Parish Shelter.. later RASCAL who I have found few pictures of he was later, until I got SASSY c 2018 again out of the Lake Charles Shelter.. Sassy was with me until 2025.. She is resting up on the hill.. In view from my window.. (there with both Roper and Scratch)..... My dogs have been a most important part of my life.. as with this rural living, they 'ground' me as I drive

sept 20 ..2020 ..soliloquy of a box..
A box is a box,
four sides,
top and bottom,
some leave out,
not a filled box,
until filled,
just an empty box,
take the top off,
it is a box top,
can you redeem it,
then you have a box,
without a top,
the box can be filled,
contents until,
you discover the bottom,
is not there,
it is just a bottomless box,
no top, you redeem,
for that new pot you have,
just four walls,
with no top,
with no bottom,
is still a box,
until you take off,
one of the walls,
and have one piece,
of paper that stretches,
will you box,
ever come back to be,
the box is not an ox,
the moron is the ox,
pulling the plow,
thru sand and sea.. See

The rain beats down,
It beats on the air-condition,
It pecks at the window,
It pecks at the sill,
I sit here, surrounded by rain
Falling over the ledge,
Sudden cascade of water falls,
Straw from the pines scatter on the ground
No echo is heard, the ears are not there,
The rain beats down,
It beats on the air-condition,
It pecks at the window,
My brain is waterlogged,
The cat has dismissed,
Returns to sleep the day away,
No chance of mouses today,
For the rain beats down,
It pecks on the window,
It cascades from the pines,
As leaves scatter,
The Cat sleeps away..
