I will be at Ferguson Farmers Market tomorrow! There will be tons of okra….. tons of okra, tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, basil, seedlings, and more! Come get the fresh produce for the weekend. I know everyone is looking for greens such as collard greens, kale and lettuce, but please have patience as the fall season is just getting underway, and we are now planting the seedlings to begin their maturity journey.

Meet Tony TNT, owner of Growing With Purpose, a Ferguson Farmers’ Market vendor bringing more than products to the market—he’s bringing knowledge, purpose, and a commitment to community.

Founded in 2025, Growing With Purpose is based in The Ville in North St. Louis City. Tony has been part of the Ferguson Farmers’ Market community for at least three years, making him a familiar and valued presence at the market.

When asked why he does what he does, Tony’s answer comes back to community and the next generation. He believes everyone has to eat, and that learning how to grow and produce food gives people skills they can use to sustain themselves and create income. For Tony, it’s about helping people in the community while showing the little ones growing up that these are valuable, practical skills they can carry with them for life.

His message to Ferguson Farmers’ Market shoppers is simple and powerful:
