Great news! Gus was adopted and was all smiles when he went home with his new family. Gus will live happily ever after with 3 fur siblings to show him around. We love you Gus! Be a good boy.

Gus had a scheduled meeting but the family cancelled because they were unsure about bringing in another pet at this time. Therefore, yes, Gus is available. ❤️

Please contact the shelter tomorrow after 9 if you are interested in meeting this handsome and popular guy. He's a real charmer and we just want the best for him. 573/885-0339.

Whenever your gears start grinding about me pulling a dog from someplace, not spending a dime on them, and asking for a high adoption fee please keep the "hard ones" in mind.
Lucky was living in Camden in a 5x5 crate wearing a shock collar because he wasn't allowed to bark. Ever. He's a one year old puppy, mixed mutt breed brown dog. He's the sweetest puppy you'll ever know. He would never bite anyone. He doesn't know what a stranger is. He's learned car riding, leash walking and dog door house training
Lucky's been here since Christmas. He's eating us out of house and home. We've had him completely vetted. He's not our thing and we knew when we pulled him he'd be hard for us to place but he needed out of that pen and out of that shock collar. His adoption fee is $100 and we don't even care if we get that. We just want him to have a happy home. He'll be here as long as it takes. He won't ever be in danger of being euthanized because he doesn't fly out the door. We won't give up on him.
Neither he nor Bella know what their adoption fees are. They couldn't care less and we're sure if they knew what was going on they'd be happy to help each other out. All they know is they're .
Adopt Lucky!

Our big boy Cooper is still waiting to find his family. Cooper is a very sweet, sometimes shy boy. He’s friendly with everyone he meets but will need to be in an adult only home or one that has teenage kids. Cooper can get spooked easily so a quiet home is what this boy is looking for! Stop by and meet this big love bug this week from 2:00-6:00 or 12:00-6:00 this weekend.
