Allegra would like to know if you have room for one very snuggly girl 🥰

This , we’re featuring one of our favorites, Allegra! She’s a 3-year-old Staffordshire Terrier mix who is proving to be the total package. 💕

Her foster family says Allegra is smart, knows lots of tricks, and is VERY treat motivated (which makes learning new things extra fun!). She loves people, is a great walker, and is always ready for some quality cuddle time.

And when we say cuddle bug, we mean CUDDLE BUG. Allegra wants to be on someone whenever possible—because apparently being next to you just isn’t quite close enough. 😂🥰

Most importantly, her foster family says she is incredibly sweet. ❤️

Some dogs steal your heart. Puncho just waddles right in and takes it. 💞

Meet Puncho, a 3-year-old Pittie mix who could also be described as… a bowling ball with legs. 🎳

He’s short. He’s stocky. He’s got a BIG head, ears that literally clap when he walks, and a personality that is somehow even sweeter than his face. 🥹❤️

On this we're reminiscing about his most recent outing! One of our amazing volunteers took Puncho on a field trip to Forest Park Forever , where he proved that the perfect day out includes plenty of exploring, taking in the views, and splooting in the grass! He even made a stop at Treats Unleashed for a cookie and a new toy because, honestly, a pup like Puncho deserves it. 🍪🧸

Puncho is the kind of dog who makes you smile just by being himself. We’re hoping his next adventure is the one where he gets to go home. 🏡

PeeWee may be his name, but there’s nothing small about this guy’s personality! 💞

PeeWee is getting ready for his TV debut today on KMOV with Meghan Drakas and this pup definitely has star power! 🤩

This handsome guy is a 4-year-old English Bulldog, and he is everything you’d expect: wrinkly, goofy, a little gassy, and absolutely full of personality!

And if you’re lucky enough to meet him, you’ll probably hear him coming from a mile away thanks to those classic Bulldog grunts, snorts, and snores. 📢

Mikasa came to us as a stray, but she has proven to be a very sweet and affectionate girl. She’s ready to leave her stray days behind and find a loving family to call her own.

Wait… did someone say "forever home"? 💕🥹

Biscuit is a 1 and a half year old American Bulldog mix weighing in at a whopping 70 lbs… but don’t let her size fool you. This goofy girl is convinced she’s a giant lap dog!

She can be a little shy at first, so she’ll need some patience and time to feel comfortable in a new environment. Once she settles in, her sweet and silly personality starts to shine!

Biscuit has lived with another dog and a cat and done well, but we’d recommend slow, patient introductions as she gets to know her new friends. 🐶🐱💕

That means it’s time to take a little extra care with our four-legged friends. 🐾☀️

70° AND OVER? DON’T TAKE ROVER. 🚗🐶

There’s no safe amount of time to leave a pet in a parked car. Cars can heat up dangerously fast, even with the windows cracked or the A/C running.

A few quick reminders:
💧 Keep fresh, cool water available
🌅 Walk during the cooler parts of the day
🔥 Check the pavement before those paws hit the ground
🏠 When it’s dangerously hot, keep pets inside where it’s cool

From TV to a forever home... talk about a week to remember! 😍

Our sweet boy Neo had quite the adventure last week. First, this handsome 4-year-old Lab mix made his TV debut on Fox2Now with Angela Hutti, showing off his charming personality for everyone to see. Then, he topped it off by finding his forever home! ❤️

Neo came to us needing a little extra care, including treatment for heartworms, and seeing him go from recovery to a loving family is exactly why we do what we do.

Happy tails, Neo! 🐾💙
