To our extended puppy dog family members and friends, this is the last post for the "Habanero Puppies" FB page. We are moving to "Brave Puppies Havanese" where we will be joining forces with m'lady Marion's "Habanero Havanese"

We have chosen to name this new page, and our new website, "Brave Puppies" to recognize the courage of our little canine friends. It does not matter whether or not the doggy in question is a brand new fancy foo-foo puppy or a tough veteran dog in a shelter, when they go with their "forever family" into their new lives they, the puppy or dog, invariably gives up EVERYTHING they have ever known! And we applaud our little furry BFFs for that courage because without it we would never have had the pleasure and the personal growth that comes from loving dogs.

FRECKLES' 2 GIRLS AND 5 BOYS ARE DOING GREAT!

THEY ARE APPROACHING 3 WEEKS OLD AND ALL OF THEM ARE HEALTHY, HAPPY, BEAUTIFUL, AND THRIVING! WE WILL BEGIN POSTING PICTURES OF THESE BEAUTIES JUST AS SOON AS WE CAN GET THEM TO COOPERATE A LITTLE. PLEASE CHECK BACK WITH US OFTEN AND LET US KNOW WHICH PUPPY IS YOUR FAVORITE!

Good Friday was very good here at Habanero Puppies! Our Freckles gave birth to seven beautiful Havanese puppies. Three are white with brown, two are white with black, and two are all white! (I think, it is really too early to tell, all of their extremities are still pink and their colors can change anytime they wish.) I don't know anything about boys vs. girls yet, it is too soon to touch them unless I absolutely have to. Check back for updates and baby photos. It's an exciting time here at Habanero Puppies!

Happy April 14th! Are your taxes finished? In a completely unrelated story, our wonderful lady Freckles is very pregnant and due to start delivering a litter of puppies anytime now! Her calculated due date was yesterday and last evening she began to show the beginning signs of being in labor. It was a long, sleepless night last night and we are still waiting at her side. Please check back for updates on this exciting time at Habanero Puppies!
