Edit- Manny has found his forever home!
Manny is a 1 year old intact male border collie looking for his forever home. He knows basic commands, is good for grooming, and is crate trained. He is up to date on vaccines, heart worm prevention, and flea/tick prevention. Manny is also microchipped and comes with AKC limited registration.
Manny is BAER tested with normal hearing and both of his parents are fully health tested (results on OFA).
Manny loves car rides and finding good sticks. He is extremely toy and food motivated. He is a happy boy and needs a person to be his best friend.
Manny would do best in a home with a quiet, fenced yard and no young kids. He gets along well with cats and most other dogs. Manny is 50 lbs of young, enthusiastic border collie and needs someone who can be consistent with him. He walks nicely on a prong collar in familiar situations but will pull if nervous or excited. This has improved with more exposure and training but will need additional work.
Manny does have a few quirks and will need to be neutered once he goes to his new home. My female dogs keep going into heat, and I am tired of the crate and rotate life, but I am not in a huge hurry to place him and I will be very picky about finding the perfect placement for him.
I would prefer for him to stay within a day’s drive of Pullman, WA. Please pm me if you are interested!
