🎃 TRAINING TIP TUESDAY 👻
Halloween brings costumes, decorations, doorbells, strangers, and lots of unexpected noises! Use this time before Halloween to practice desensitization with your dog! Start small and reward calm behavior around new sights and sounds
🔔 Practice “place” with the doorbell
🎃 Let them investigate costumes at their own pace
🍪 Reward calm behavior instead of forcing interaction

(This is an old picture of nakitatheakita17 & Xena, but definitely still one of my favorites! 🥰)

A little pupdate on Creed! 🖤🤍 This boy is living his BEST spoiled life, and I still get to see him pretty often! 🥰 He did have a bit of a hard time adjusting in the beginning, but that’s completely normal when transitioning into a new home! ❤️ It’s always important to remember the 333 rule when bringing home a new dog!
3️⃣ days to decompress and start feeling safe
3️⃣ weeks to settle into a routine and learn your schedule
3️⃣ months to start feeling truly at home! 🏡

Every dog adjusts at their own pace, so patience, consistency, and lots of love go a LONG way!

🐾 Visit our page
🐾 Click the three dots (•••) next to our name

I know it might seem like a long shot to reach our goal in such a short amount of time, but if every one of you invited your entire friends list, we could EASILY make it happen! 🙌🏻🐾 Every invite counts, and this is a FREE way to support!! THANK YOUR VET TECHS THIS WEEK!! 🎉🖤🤍

✨ Little life update! ✨
I’m still working in veterinary medicine, but as of last month, I’m officially a certified groomer and the exciting news doesn’t stop there! ✂️🫧 Katie and I have been working hard and Canine Social of Troy has been voted into the Top 5 of Madison County’s Best of the Best for the SECOND year in a row! 🥹❤️ Now we need YOUR help to bring home the win! 🏆 If you have a second, please click the link and vote for these 2 Dalmatian moms by selecting Canine Social of Troy! Every vote means so much to us, and we’d love to make this year extra special! 🐾💕

Out thrift shopping with my girls and stumbled across this absolute GEM of a movie 😅 If I still had a VHS player, this would’ve come home with me 📼

Now I’m thinking… should I dye 3 of the Dals to match this movie for Halloween? 🤔
