CrisisDogs NC A foster based 501c3 rescue provides medical care and transport by land/air to screened adopters.

CrisisDogsNC matches adopters with dogs at risk who are facing imminent euthanasia at shelters or deplacement into a shelter,live on chains or at hoarders. We provide full medical care, foster homes, and transportation assistance if applicable. CrisisDogsNC rescues all dogs regardless of age, breed and medical condition. We earned Guidestar's prestigious Platinum Seal for Transparency and have an A+ rating at the BBB.

Chunk Norris doesn’t need a bag of candy this Halloween—he’s hoping to fill his bucket with belly rubs, car rides, and a forever family! 🧡🐾

This almost-3-year-old, 29-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix is equal parts adventure buddy and couch companion. He loves a good walk, a little backyard fun, and settling in near his favorite humans for a spooky movie marathon. 🍿🛋️

🍁 Maple Raised Her Babies—Now It’s Her Turn to Be Cherished!

At just 1 year old and 14 pounds, Maple has already raised six puppies after giving birth in a shelter. Her babies are now weaned, and this sweet Chihuahua mix is ready for a family of her own. 💛

Maple loves her foster family, enjoys playing with other dogs, and has been wonderful with younger children. She’s still a young girl herself, with a playful spark and plenty of affection to share!

New people can make her a little unsure—especially anyone wearing a hat or hoodie—but gentle reassurance helps her warm up and show her loving personality.

❤️ Vannah has already had one big adventure. Now she's ready for the BEST one yet — finding her forever family! 🏡🐾

Meet Vannah, an adorable, approximately 20 lb white rescue dog with Crisis Dogs NC who is hoping someone will give her a permanent place to call home!

You may remember Vannah from our recent post when she slipped out of her foster home in Knightdale, NC. This little girl's unexpected adventure certainly got our hearts racing!

But what we really want is for Vannah to get attention for something much more exciting: FINDING HER FOREVER HOME! ❤️

Every rescue dog deserves more than a temporary place to stay. They deserve a family who will love them, protect them, and make them feel like they belong.

And that's exactly what we're hoping to find for Vannah.

Somewhere there is a person or family who doesn't even know their future best friend is waiting for them.

After months of waiting, wondering when his turn would come, Maui is officially ADOPTED! 🏡🐾

And we couldn't imagine a better photo to celebrate — Maui with his good friend and former foster brother, Theo. 🥹

Maui's journey took a village. A HUGE thank you to his long-term foster mom, Kelly, who gave him a loving place to land and worked tirelessly to get this sweet boy seen.

Thank you to Bernadette, Cara, and Hannah for opening their homes to Maui along the way; to Brittney and Jill for taking him to adoption events; and to every single person who shared his posts, cheered him on, and refused to give up on him.

Every share mattered. Every event mattered. Every foster home mattered.

And eventually, all those people helped Maui reach the one person who mattered most — his forever family. ❤️

Beau gets along with easygoing, submissive dogs but prefers not to be challenged. He can guard food around other dogs, so separate mealtimes are important.

And if you have cats? Beau has lived with them and politely minds his own business!

Beau doesn't need a perfect home. He needs a family who will love him, include him in their adventures, and help him continue becoming his most confident self.
