Today, I got to experience my very first dog show, and I had such a great time! 🐾❤️

After 9 years in the grooming industry, it was so much fun getting to step into a different side of the dog world and see so many beautiful breeds, incredible coats, and talented handlers all in one place. There is ALWAYS something new to learn in this industry, and today definitely reminded me of that! I even ran into my academy instructor, Tiffany! It was so great seeing her again.

I’m also so thankful I got to experience it alongside Melissa and Emily. 🥰 Melissa has so much experience in the show and competition world, so being able to walk around with her, ask questions, and learn from her made the experience even more special. And oh boy, I have a LOT to learn from her!

Of course, Emily and I were like kids in a candy store looking at all the dogs. 😂🐶

Days like today make me even more excited about what we’re building at Tina’s Barking Lounge. I came home feeling inspired, grateful, and probably wanting about 15 more dogs. 😂❤️🐾

My daughter and her best friend are collecting donations for our local animal shelter as part of her journey toward earning her Girl Scout Bronze Award! 💚

If you’d like to support their project, simply bring any donated items with you to your pup’s grooming appointment and drop them off here at the salon. Deadline for collecting donations is 9/30. 

Every donation, big or small, helps them get one step closer to their goal while making a difference for animals in need! 🐶🐱💕

Beginning September 15th, Tina’s Barking Lounge will have a small price increase to help keep up with the rising costs of products, supplies, and maintaining the quality of care we provide.
