As we approach one week since this nightmare began, we want to keep showing up for the community that means so much to us. Spokane is home to The Doggy District. 🤍
When we dropped supplies off at SpokAnimal C.A.R.E. Sunday morning, we were overwhelmed by the amount our community had already given. Seeing that pile of donations was incredible — but the reality is, nothing we can ever do will feel like enough for this community after everything they’ve experienced. Still, we’ll continue to show up and do what we can.
Right now, SpokAnimal needs direct financial support, so that’s where we want to focus next.
To encourage donations to go directly to SpokAnimal, we’ve set aside $300 in Doggy District gift cards as a small thank-you to those who give. We’ll send you a gift card equal to your donation, up to $25, while the fund lasts.
Donate $5 → receive $5
Donate $10 → receive $10
Donate $25 or more → receive $25
We’ve added SpokAnimal’s direct donation link to our bio to make donating as easy as possible.
After donating, DM us a screenshot of your donation confirmation + the email address you’d like your gift card sent to.
Your donation goes directly to SpokAnimal. The gift card comes entirely from us and is simply our way of thanking you for helping support this community.
We’ll update this post once the full $300 gift card fund has been claimed.
There is still so much need, and so much loss. We just want to keep showing up in whatever way we can. 🤍
