The Best Update! 🐾

For those of you that don’t know!
Bailey was successful in naturally whelping a litter of 8 gorgeous puppies in just 3 hours! Our little athlete 💪🏼

Luckily it was during the day of October 2nd, the sun was shining here in Spokane, Spotify was playing the “birthing playlist”, we were on our third cups of coffee, and we were just as nervous as she was!

Even though Rocco is the sire, his rich chocolate coloring sadly didn’t make it into the picture! 😆 Instead of a cheese litter we should’ve done shades of blue! We were on the edge of our seats every time Bailey started pushing, so excited to see what color would arrive next. And every single time… BLUE! 🩵

We are so enjoying these precious moments. Seeing Bailey as a mom for the first time just bring tears to our eyes. She is our baby, and she is an exceptional mother. We didn’t have many doubts, knowing she was a decent of Breck! But she has exceeded our expectations ❣️

8 beautiful, healthy little puppies, one incredible mama, and a day we’ll never forget ☀️

🧀 THE CHEESE LITTER IS ALMOST HERE 🧀

Bailey is heading in for her X-ray this Friday so we can finally see just how many little curds are in the oven! 🥰🍼

We’re getting very close to meeting the newest members of the Cheese Litter, and we couldn’t be more excited to share this journey with you.

KINGS > RUSTY > LOKI

Who says good boys don’t deserve second chances? 🧡

Loki has happily found his new family here in Idaho, where he even has a OEB sibling named Mazie!

This spunky potato had trouble written all over him, but with the right family, environment, and patience to get him through his growing pains. He is now thriving!

It was the type of home that just felt meant to be from the first message! Even with some quirks to work through, they are completely enthralled with him! They can’t get over his coloring. The deep bronze on his legs, chest, eyebrows, and cheeks is much different than any of his siblings!

We truly enjoyed our extra time with Loki, where we watched him change day to day, learning what it means to be a good dog with our adults, what the routine is, and what daily life would look like.
He loved to push boundaries as any puppy tries, but he quickly learned to be redirected either from his mom (Breck) or by my alpha husband! 💪🏼

He surprised us in so many ways. He actually knew basic commands better than some of our adults! 🤣 He did wonderful in the car, learned to settle, and eventually figured out that he could just lay down in the yard and take a nap instead of looking for his next adventure.

We never hesitate to take one of our productions back when something isn’t working. And we never shame or judge the family who makes that decision. In fact, we are incredibly thankful for Loki’s first family for being honest, putting his needs first, and trusting us to help find the right situation for him.

Our responsibility doesn’t end when a puppy leaves our home. When Loki came back to us, we weren’t going to give up on him. We were going to give him time and wait for the people who would see what we saw in him. A really good boy.

We are so incredibly thankful his new family decided to give Loki his second chance. Watching him go from a puppy who needed a little extra patience to a happy, thriving boy has been so rewarding.

Were so happy for you, Loki. 🧡 You found your people!

MESA > PEPPA

The girl with the sandy coat, the bubbly personality, the one who is always ready to join in on the trouble, the one who came out with a permanent side eye, but the girl who will love her people more than anything!

She battled a case of pneumonia which allowed us to keep her longer to make sure she improved with the proper care and resources. Once she kicked it, she found the most amazing home with a permanent best friend (3 yr old Kane). Since she has had no issues and will live a normal and active life!

We really enjoyed our extra time with her, and she got to understand what adult dogs do, their routine and how to act appropriately. It’s crazy how much that can teach a puppy and get them started in their new roles!

She will always hold a special place in our hearts, the louder your kid voice the faster her tail moves! It’s just the best!

OLYMPIA

She was the observer of the group. Usually unphased by anyone or anything. The one to sit back and watch what you were doing, with eyes that told you she knew exactly what was going on. She had this old soul vibe about her, so mature and wise. Her personality reminded me so much of her Grandma Nova.

She had these long legs which allowed her to tower over most of her siblings, we know someday she will grow into them. She caught onto her commands like she’d practiced them in her sleep. She was just simply a joy to have around, she easily picked up on the routine of the older dogs and they had such a special bond.

We were thankful to have her for 12 weeks which ultimately made it harder to give her up! Her mama moved from HI back to WA, and brought us the most special gifts when she came to pick Olympia up. A necklace with the birthstones of the first 5 bulldogs that started our program, and a watercolored painting of Nova and I on the Oregon Coast when she was Olympia’s age. 🥹 gifts I’ll cherish for a lifetime, all while holding meaning that I could never put into words. So thank you so much for that, and for loving our baby as much as we have!

We know she’s living her best life, on the lake, watching the ducks, looking for fish, and overall just busy being your soul dog. We love your bond! ❣️

DENALI > PHOEBE

This girl is going to need way more than 20 frames to capture just how absolutely stunning she is ⭐️

Meet our official keeper from the “National Parks” litter. She is co-owned with a wonderful family who lives close by, giving us the best of both worlds! We get every opportunity to spoil her, love on her, have sleep overs with her, and continue to watch her grow into the incredible girl she is. 🩷

She has two human kid siblings, a big backyard to run and play in, and a home where she is absolutely thriving with love and attention. Exactly what we’d want for one of our puppies! So far her favorite toy is a small sand bucket 😆

It’s hard to believe this is the same puppy who was the absolute little spaz of the litter, growling at people and her littermates and always keeping us on our toes! Watching her blossom into this happy, confident, energetic, playful, outgoing, and beautifully built girl. This gal is still the biggest of the litter, and even was from day one!

And let’s talk about that gorgeous brindle coat! She is the first brindle we’ve ever produced here at B*W, so we knew from the very beginning that she was something truly special.

All of her future puppy families will be incredibly lucky to welcome a puppy from this amazing girl. So far, she has everything we hope for in a breeding female; a wonderful temperament, beautiful structure, and a heart full of joy.

We can’t wait to watch her legacy grow and are so hopeful for her future 🙏🏼

we are PENDING PICKUP 🌟

our boy is staying local (Lewiston) and will have an older sister to play with (also OEB)!
His family can’t wait to pick him up and get him settled in, and are very confident he will be the perfect match for them!
