Oklahoma Boston Terrier Rescue Society Oklahoma Boston Terrier Rescue Society accepts owner surrendered Boston terriers, those that have been found and from shelters.

Every Boston terrier taken into our program is spayed/neutered, vaccinated and heartworm tested. If they test positive, they will be treated before becoming available for adoption.

I have a two month female Chihuahua/Shih Tzu in my rescue. I named her Delta Dawn (DD). She’s only had her first puppy shot so I won’t take her outside—parvo is horrible. DD slept in the utility room last night and it took a while before she settled in—and she was up at 6:45 am. She’s using the potty pad pretty good. I wasn’t able to post her picture so if I answer anyone I hope it will cooperate. DD was born June 28.

Roxy is about 5 months old. The person that had her is working two jobs and has three kids. She didn’t need a puppy. Roxy is crate trained and loves having a yard. No accidents so far. A very good friend passed away Tuesday evening. I will need to rehome her four Boston terriers. Trixie is a senior—12ish, Buster Brown and Sassy are 8-10 and Simon is 3-5. I don’t know their ages just recalling how long she’s had them. Simon is red and white and needs to be neutered and they all need vaccinations and heartworm testing. I will post pictures soon. I’m devastated that Susie has passed away and I’m trying to help her family. I can be reached at 405-590-3200.

I’m posting this for a friend. Rebekah adopted Sasha from me 2 years ago.

Sasha is 4 now. Spayed and up to date on shots. She is crate trained. House trained and can use a doggy door. She can not walk on a leash. Sasha was rescued from breeders and is very nervous. She doesn’t want to leave her yard, home or people. So we never forced leash training on her. When she came to us she wanted nothing to do with humans. She immediately bonded with our other female and eventually started playing. She loves tennis balls. She will destroy them. She is not destructive with anything else. She’s not a barker. She’s very loving. She is very timid. I don’t think that will ever change. She was around a cat. She didn’t pay any attention to it. She is a great mouser and has eliminated all the mice from our storage building in the back yard and even caught a squirrel last week. She has never tried to get out of the back yard and she does not dig. Yesterday she got into a fight with our male Boston because he was trying to play with her and she was on edge due to the police pursuit and helicopters in our neighborhood from the criminal who led police on a chase all through our neighborhood. We were not home. This ended ultimately with her and our other 2 Bostons ganging up on him and he passed away this morning. She never showed any signs of agression and the 4 of them got along perfectly. We still don’t understand why this happened. Our veterinarian has told us he does not feel like she needs to be euthanized. Or the other two involved in the attack. He thinks they would do best rehomed into a single dog family since they have acted like this in a pack. Sasha is a very sweet girl. I do not hate her for this. She just deserves a home where she is loved and gives love where her momma does not hold a grudge against her for being an animal and acting out because she was scared. She is terrified of fireworks and storms. Police sirens and helicopters in our neighborhood had the same effect. Sadly we were at work or this would not have happened. If they were crated it would not have happened. With her using a dog door and being housetrained we never felt it was necessary to lock her in a crate when she could freely go in and out to potty while we were at work. Again she isn’t destructive so we didn’t have the need to crate her to keep her from getting into something and hurt herself. I have many videos of her playing with the dogs and how she needs to be seen instead of judged for what happened. What won’t happen again if she is an only child. She must be an only dog.

I got Sabrina and Sierra this afternoon—we don’t know which is which. They’re owner passed away two days ago and family took them to the shelter. There are no records but we know they are 4 & 6–possibly sisters. One is more of a lap dog than the other but it may just be the circumstance. I have my own fur kids so I let Pedro my Chihuahua out and they went after him. That scared me because I haven’t experienced this. The girls are in the oversized double car garage. They have a big crate with bedding, food and water. I can cover the doggy door and let them go outside through the garage door. The girls are available for adoption now.

I just got this 3 month old French Bulldog/Chihuahua. A friend bought her about a month ago and they’re having to move. The pet deposits are outrageous and they just couldn’t keep her. They have been calling her Little Bit. She has had her first puppy shot and has been dewormed

The woman emailed me that she found Cokie a home. I just hope she’s happy.

I had an email this morning asking if I could take a Boston terrier named Cokie. Her owner passed away last month. I emailed immediately that I would and Debbie called within minutes.

I only know the owner was elderly and kept Cokie in her crate except to go outside. The couple taking care of her can’t keep her because she’s too busy—she’s 5 years old. Thankfully she’s spayed but I’ sure needs vaccinations and heartworm test. I’ll get some pictures.

Cokie will be here tomorrow afternoon.

I got this little girl from the Oklahoma City animal shelter this afternoon. She was found as a stray. Probably 7-8 years old, not altered, has had puppies, one eye is cloudy and was thrilled to get in the car and go for a ride. She’s going to stay with Don and Boston—there was no problem with them getting along. After we were in the house for a little while she was looking around for something. I asked her if she needed to go out and she bounced. As soon as she got outside she squatted, walked a few more steps and pottied. So she is housebroken. I just hope I can get an appointment for spay at one ☝️ f the clinics.

Matilda Belle (Tillie) half white face and Penelope (Pippa) are 3 year old sisters (same dad, different moms) and they are 4 days apart in age—born November. These girls can go over a 5’ chain link fence—owner bought a 6’ tall pen and they can get over it. They need a 6’ privacy fence. The girls are spayed and microchipped. If you are interested and can furnish pictures of your property and references I will furnish the information. The owners will be very selective on a forever home.

Ginger is approx 1 1/2 yrs./-she’s red & white. She is crate/house trained. She either needs to be an only pet or with a larger dog. She is spayed, current on vaccination, and on heart worm prevention. She plays pretty rough and is a typical hyper boston. If any questions please call or text Angie at 405-595-6576

Fonzie is the last pup left if the litter. He’s 7 weeks old, dewormed, first puppy shot and sleeps alone in the utility room. Fonzie has been around my 3 adult Boston terriers and 3 adult Chihuahuas and he’s doing great.He’s doing so so on the potty pad.
