Here's our boy Comet - repainted and his personality captured! It's been healing to spend detailed Comet-moments correcting the portrait I had began some 6 months ago.. and where we still expect his bark at the sound of the doorbell, or tic-tic-tic of his toenails on the kitchen floor, this portrait seems to settle me.
I miss him - and he lives on in our hearts. 💚🐾

Both of these Keepsakes are of Cheeto- which belonged to Dana Iannantuono and my cousin Danny Wiseman painted from two of their favorite photos; one in the Cuties box as a kitten, and secondly, the royal pose of his beautiful self as an adult. Cheeto was their beloved boy who was tragically diagnosed with a too-soon-ticket to the Rainbow bridge. 💔 Danny, Dana and their two remaining cats are navigating these sad days, and their are now on their way to them in Florida. I hope they love them.

Where I realize it is a very sad occasion for her people - we know a royal reunion is happening somewhere over the Rainbow Bridge. This bitty baby is Duchess who is now reunited with her dapper dude Duke. My heartfelt condolences to the Kircher family.
