Located in Northeast Alabama, we're a private, family-run rescue started from our love of reptiles, and the need for homes for animals that are most often bought on impulse.

As much as it hurts out hearts to say, unfortunately, we are at capacity for all animals at the moment. We will not be able to take anymore surrenders in the near future. We will be having an adoption event soon, and we will will post when we have openings available again. Thank you for your understanding.

Reptiles will only be taken in if there is sufficient room for it at our facility. We do not pick up surrendered/rescued animals unless it is an absolute emergency and we are available to do so. If you need to surrender a reptile, it will need to be delivered to us here at the rescue at a mutually agreed upon date and time. Currently, we are not accepting any type of turtles or tortoises. This gorgeous, chonky girl came to us today. She came in with mites (you can really see them in the 1st photo), but we immediately soaked her, treated her with Frontline, and now she is resting comfortably in a hospital tank.

Went and picked up this beautiful surrendered boy named "Jett" several days ago. Had to get some pics in before he went in his travel container. His family requested he be a permanent resident with us here. 💖

This little girl came to us by way of a family member of the elderly lady that owned her. Her name is *Ruby* and likes to play chase. 💖 She is 8 years old (small for her age due to previous diet) and she is available for adoption to the right home. Sulcatas are a unique species that live up to 150 years and can reach 200 lbs. She is what we call an "heirloom" animal and not a beginner pet.
